One of these is so gonna be my last.fm avatar <3. The screencap of the 1st one i spent an entire 1.30 song LOLing at till the point my jaw hurt, never seen such a WONDERFUL facial expression in my life, though looking back on it i don't understand what i made such a fuss about :(.

 

Oh and Bev does have genuinely good moments, albeit few, Dido is one of my least favourite artists of all time :whistle:. I'm just glad i wasn't following music when she was successful, that would've enraged me tbh.

I think the general knowledge questions on the celebrity version are easier than in the main programme. That said, two of the people up against Beverly Knight (Michael Howard and John Higgins) were spectacularly bad in the general knowledge round.

 

They are ... but believe me ... on the whole .... even in the normal Mastermind ... they have got easier. I've started counting up the general knowledge points I can get ... and for each player I can now, quite comfortably get 10 - 12 answers on the GK round right (per player ... not per whole show!) It HAS been dumbed down. Ten years ago ... I would barely be able to answer three per player! It isn't alone .... University Challenge has similarly been dumbed down. I know this is sad ... but I time/count myself on questions ... I can average about 150 points per show (including the 10 points for each 'starter for 10 and now conferring' questions)

 

Have I got smarter ... or has life just got dumber?

I also get more on Mastermind than I used to get. However, at least some of that is simply because I know more now than I did ten or twenty years ago. After all, I'm more likely to be able to answer a question about something which happened 20 years ago than I would have been when I was a teenager. When I was a teenager, 20 years ago was history. Now it's an event in my lifetime.

However, I'm not going to take the blame for bringing up Dido, as if you look back Aaron did that. I simply stated that I didn't like Bev.
