Hopefully Broken Heels picks up some momentum. Although it's not smashing records here atm, i'm pleased BB is already top 20 on iTunes in Sweden, Norway and Netherlands. :D I wonder if that could boost it up on UK iTunes. Unlikely, i know.

Its being played on Starz tv quite a few times already today but thats the only music channel playing it at the moment

Six knows I am an Alex fan as well, I am not having a go but I am like most of her fans really positive that Alex always pulls it out of the bag and Broken Heels will do very well.

Sorry it looks that way but she is the most interesting thing in the chart atm. I'm not trying to make them nervous, i'm just saying it's a shame it keeps being pushed back when new releases (Glee/Owl City :wub:/Plan B ) rise. I'm sure it will be top 5 next week. I'm 98% sure. I am just annoyed it was going top 5 just to be shoved all the way to #8 in a matter of a day IIRC. I think SYTYCD will push it up to top 5 on iTunes at least. Probably #4. Then with GMTV and the physicals (bought by core-fanbase) should put it into the top 3. :D

 

On another note, is The Silence the 3rd single? That HAS to be released at some point.

On her webchat yesterday she said no decision had been made on her next single.I think it depends on how well Broken Heels does.I am sure if they think they can keep the momentum going with uptempo singles it maybe another upbeat single.She is though in the studio with RedOne at the moment so I am really hoping they are rerecording The Silence.It has finally been A-listed on Radio 1 so a few more plays might help.At least it is being pushed back for good songs Plan B really deserve to do well and Fireflies is an interesting tune.

Why would they rerecord TS? Maybe to change the pitch and speed. Her performance on The POG show was far better than the album version. I think it could do a Halo style chart run - as that was a third single as well.

 

I don't know if being on the A-List will be very effective but then i don't know much in terms of Radio Airplay etc. :D I guess it can only be a positive. I really hope though that the 3rd single will be a ballad. Another consecutive up-tempo would be too samey.
