I know lots of people have been saying that we may be in with a suprise for GCC, but I wasn't believing them tbh, until now.

Just looked it up on limewire and Echo already has 86 P2P users, and for anyone who uses limewire they will know that that is massive for a british song. Will defo be a smash now! Can't believe that!

Agreed, I was shocked when I saw that as well.

I haven't heard the Top 3 songs fully yet :drama:.

I think you need to look at my sig properly. :D

Love Miley but your signature made me laugh .

No chance.

This time last week, Iyaz had already opened up a lead over Riverside.

Owl City has been out for 3 days - it will be lucky if it overtakes Iyaz on iTunes, let alone officially

I know that - but what does that have to do with what I said?

Keep in mind Fireflies wasn't due to be released until February, so I'm sure there are still thousands of fans who are still unaware it's released. It may well get a big boost after the chart show this week. It will DEFINITELY overtake Iyaz both on iTunes and officially, if it doesn't I will put my head in an oven.

Some people really overestimate this, a play on the chart show is no different to one play on Radio 1 any other time in the week, it never makes a difference or changes anything.

The difference here being that it has a chance of being #1.

No? And I'm a Cheryl fan...

Alexandra will be bigger I'm predicting.

No. The best British export will be the one who cracks the US, and that won't be Cheryl.

I agree - I think Alex will be the biggest export, particularly stateside.

I think the point that he was making is that when it is played on the chart show people will know it is availible for download. Rather than just hearing it on any other Radio show.

I wonder how close it is between Fireflies and Replay now? Fireflies needs to hurry up and overtake :(

Great for RiRi!
amazing for Hard :o please drop all thoughts of Rude Boy and release this properly instead
I like 'Hard', but it is easily the most generic track on Rihanna's album. On the other hand it does have obvious hit potential, so it'd probably be the best choice for second (even though it pretty much certainly is).
Amazing for Rihanna! I'm getting seriously confused though, is the next single Hard or Rude Boy!?
I don't think 'Hard' is that generic! I'd say 'Rude Boy', as much as I love it, is far more generic.
