I will have LOTS of time over summer considering I won't be at uni and my job is term-time only

I love the Boreanaz from his work on Buffy/Angel obvz and I think I read one of the Temperence Brenan books once and quite enjoyed it. That's what the character played by Emily thingie is based on is it not?

The only thing Bones takes from the Books is the name 'Dr Temperance Brennan' thats it. It's more inspired by the life of Kathy Reichs than her books. Sublime show

Heroes has been canned. Finallly!

:( No surprise really. Still haven't watched S3 yet  and stopped watching S4 after I missed a week, about 5 eps in. Will still probably buy it when it comes out at the end of the year.

Should we not have a new thread with all the cancellations/renewals etc together?

It'd make it easier for people trying to track their favourite shows rather than reading through pages. I could do a thread when I have time if you like ^_^

^Do you mean like have all the 10/11 schedules together? If so I can just update the first page with the new schedules and cancellations ^_^ Would save making a new topic

Well yeah

And a list of the cancellations and new shows ^_^ I didn't think of that :( Soggy, revision brain tonight.

Looks like there will be more life for fan favorite bubble series One Tree Hill and Life Unexpected! Rumors are swirling that both series will get half seasons on the CW's 2010-11 lineup, and a well-placed insider just told me:

"It isn't yet official, but it sure looks like it."

The CW will announce its fall schedule—and the status of these two shows—this Thursday.

Shocked at Dana Delany's new show Body of Proof being dumped in that slot on Fridays. Not a good start for it.

CBS have cancelled Cold Case, Miami Medical, Accidentally on Purpose, and Numb3rs.

It was nothing special but I am actually more gutted than I expected at AOP being cancelled

abc should have changed sundays put body of proof after desperate housewives, brothers and sisters is a weak show now

So is it safe to assume CBS have renewed Medium if it isn't on their drop list?

Yes, that's not a good sign for Dana Delaney's show. Perhaps they're not expecting big ratings for it and it was just picked up because it's relatively cheap to make? Although I think it's probably more likely that they've just not been very clever about the scheduling.

Yep Jark - just seen "Looks like it'll be renewed." re: Medium.

I have a feeling this is just ABC being ABC with Body of Proof. :drama:

The CW has renewed both its bubble shows -- "Life Unexpected" and "One Tree Hill" -- while picking up two new series for next season, "Hellcats" and "Nikita."

"Nikita" will give the network its first non-supernatural action-drama. The Warner Bros/Wonderland series stars martial arts expert Maggie Q as an assassin who goes rogue. "Hellcats" is about a college cheerleading squad at a Southern university, and is from Bonanza/Warner Bros./CBS TV.

Though rumors had started last week that both veteran soap "OTH" and critically well-liked freshman drama "Unexpected" might get another round, the move is still a bit surprising, particularly in the case of "Unexpected," which has garnered modest ratings. This will mark the eighth season for "OTH."

:w00t: Excuse me while I go throw a party now

^Yeah they signed a multi-year deal a while ago I believe. And Two and a Half Men is coming back after Charlie Sheen signed another deal with CBS ^_^

I am so annoying that the CW didn't pick up Betwixt. I was looking forward to that so much :( Maybe they'll still announce it on Thursday as they didn't anounce The Vampire Diaries until their schedule came out last year.

Good for OTH and Lux though. That Hellcats trash sounds like a cheap attempt to be Glee.

That Hellcats trash sounds like a cheap attempt to be Glee.

Its being called a "drama"...

I can't explain it. From what I've read/heard it's trying too hard to tap into the success of Glee but using cheerleading instead of singing.

Plus it has annoying Disney bints in it. I guess they failed to learn their lesson after that show with Corbin Bleu in it last year that got pulled after 2 episodes :heehee:
