WTF! Rude Boy is getting released but Hard is doing so well. Her label are f***ed up with her single releases.

Tbf, 'Rude Boy' is at #127 on iTunes without a video and any airplay but yeah, I agree. :(

Good to see Glee, Alicia & Sugaflaps listed! :D

and the pointless addition of the week goes to: Alicia Keys!

Looks like we might be getting what I expected and they're going for this as the next single, based on it's success so far. -_- Hopefully this doesn't mean we don't get "Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart", they'll probably skip right to "Put It In A Love Song" after this. Does this even have a video?

I'm also disappointed to see Rihanna going for "Rude Boy" as the next single. :puke2: It reeks of try-hard 'attitude', "Hard" (and "Run This Town") did that sort of thing so much better.

I also think that releasing RB unstead of Hard will ruin Hard all together. Same with the first single, Wait Your Turn was all over the music channels and am doubtful it will get a release at all as it has already sold quite a few copies already, and lots of people think its old now when it could of been a great single choice and done well. The same effect will probably effect Hard's chances of being a single at all and with her new album, its great but there isn't thousands of commercial single choices left if this is the case apart from 'Photographs'. Such a shame that they have f***ed up again, and if it turns out Hard is actually the single, then the same thing will happen with Rude Boy! :(

Yay for OC up to A-List, GCC still on A-List, Timbaland Ft. Katy Perry up to B-List and Sugababes added :cheer:

And  at Glee not only being added, but straight to B

A-List

Marina & The Diamonds - Hollywood

B-List

Ellie Goulding - Starry Eyed

Interesting to see. :D Let's hope 'Hollywood' is a bigger hit too as it's easily the better song. I'm still not understanding the deal with Ellie Goulding. I even forced myself to watch 'Under The Sheets' this morning when the video was played on MTV Hits. It got as far the second verse and turned it over.

she's well loved on Buzzjack, particularly Under The Sheets, watch out for the Ellieloons - they'll be out to get you for those comments :heehee:

I think she's quite good - nothing extraordinary or amazingly original, and nothing I've heard from her so far makes me think that she should have topped the Sound of 2010 poll over Marina - I'll reserve making any solid judgements until I've heard her album because I thoroughly enjoyed her and Erik Hassle's cover of Robyn's Be Mine so I definitely think that she has some potential

Great to see Sugababes playlisted already! Looks like this will be a bigger hit than everyone thought. :D

Wooo @ Glee. Great for Alicia aswell, according to Fearnne Cotton this morning, it IS indeed getting an official release at the begining of March I think.

Great to see Alex & Marina A-Listed and Sugababes added aswell.

Rihannas releasing Rude Boy? Errm..why? Hard is so much better...

Well let's not get too ahead of ourselves, Ellie was only added last week and it looks like her song is out three weeks after Marina's, she doesn't even have a video yet. I'd rate "Hollywood" and "Starry Eyed" about equally, both are great. I just prefer Ellie more in general. I wasn't convinced, but I'm sure she'll have the bigger year as well. Her record label is more preferable, she's topped all the polls and she's now having more success with the hype songs. Ellie's not only charted originally, but it's re-entered after her Sound Of hype, Marina has yet to make a similar impact.

stupid radio 1 jumping on the glee bandwagon, why cant they play original music like they are supposed to. they bum any american trash!!
Glad rude boy is being released but dont see why it couldnt have been the third single, what with hard doing well on itunes and already having a video done.

I couldn't quite put my finger on it the other day, but Ellie Goulding reminds of a "more credible" Sandi Thom. 'Starry Eyed' is ok but not good enough to be a UK no. 1 and certainly doesn't deserve all this praise and hype surrouding her. It's left to be seen if future hits will change my opinion in a "wow, this is a great song".

i think hollywood would be a fitting uk no1 single - great song!!

thats exactly how i feel, just go with hard now seen as theres a video and it has a jump start on itunes. then do rude boy as the 3rd single quickly after hard. if rude boy is gonna be a hit it will be a hit whether it is 2nd or 3rd single, they may as well let hard play out 1st.

seems hard will be another wait your turn.

Wear My Kiss Has gone on the playlist a week earlier than both GS and AAG :D

Exactly, i also think that hard may not be released atall, it shouldnt be really. The video being out now will have ruined a major excitement force for hard being a future single.
