monster flop for GCC considering their Radio 1 a-listing and top 3/5 predictions by some on here (although I guess they've done little other promo)

 

I guess people are bored of that Tedder-like repetition of words sound now, want something new for 2010

Such a shame that GCC are flopping :( On the bright side, it looks like Biffy could have been dropping out of the T20, so if GCC drop another couple places it'll be more likely that the Biff stick it in the T20 ^_^

 

I wish we had sales, it's now totally unpredictable between Iyaz and OC... hopefully OC will just make it ^_^

 

Shame for LP album falling to #3, but I can't imagine it'll fall any further by Thursday.

 

Anyway, I really hope that on Sunday Example will scrape top 5 and the Sats or JLS, preferably the latter, will knock JB out of the top ten :puke:

Don't get carried away... europe IS a tough and unstable market (lots of different countries with different tastes) trust me on that, most uk only acts rarely enter top10 in even a single european country. I seriously doubt bad boys will chart high anywhere.

 

Greece:52? lol I'm half Greek (note the flag) and she is totally nobody there {take a look at what's higher than her lol!} It should be Alex fans from UK downloading from Greek itunes...(there is a Greek x-f but it's not very powerful promotion-wise) I don't blame her though Greece is really unpredictable market and I know a lot about it! ;)

By saying promontional tour in Europe you mean? Which countries? I think a promo tour is a good marketing idea but don't expect too much, she doesn't have sth really catchy in her bag to make an effective introduction... [if she does well please prove me wrong, that could mean a lot have changed...]

Even you must know that no Alex fan would bother buying itunes in Greece as it is a market that I am sure is very small for any pop acts other than local ones.You may be half Greek but you clearly do not keep up to date with what is happening there.Alex is the MTV Europe performer of the Month and is on MTV Greece daily as we only found out from a Greek poster on PJ.She is currently at 83 on Greek itunes I have added a link,so some people there do know her as according to you she is a nobody.Her promo tour will cover Belgium, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy and Austria the European countries that matter.Badboys was released on itunes today in Germany and is already at No 45.Next week we will know where she will chart in most of these countries but on itunes she is doing well.

When she enters the official charts in europe let me know how she does then, it won't be an amazing chart run trust me! And I said what I read in her thread, I don't think she's charting everywhere in the itunes because UK fans buy from all foreign countries itunes. {Greece is not the only country she is sitting high--> for the time being she's not high getting even top 50 in the Greek itunes current chart for 2-3 days (and she's even lower) on an average week equalls to very few sales, and if there was a reliable chart I could post a link to she you would notice she probably won't even enter official top100!}

 

@Lilmisshumeygold: I am not a jls fan but i think one shot must be about 10 times better than the jedward song. There are still better songs out, but I sadly expect this charity attempt to get very popular and beat not only these two but also the rest of the songs.

I think Alex Is doing extremly well wen she won i never imagined her coming this far and neither did i think jls :heart: would aswell but theyve both done really well The past year.x :wub: and Overcome had done really well aswell and so have bad Boys and Broken heels.(But i thought it was gonna go number 1 though but doesnt really matter :unsure:

Please stop embarrasing yourself it is starting to look desperate.Alex is at 62 on the Greek itunes you can check any itunes site you want it will be the same.No English fan of Alex would even bother buying itunes in a foreign country on her behalf get real.If she is a nobody MTV Greece seem to disagree have you watched recently but again it is not considered an important market.Fact is after 1 week of promotion and Badboys being available from last week we will certainly update you with her entry positions next week.Bad Boys was released on German itunes yesterday and is currently at No 22 and No 27 in Austria.90 percent of UK acts do not make any impact in Europe so this is a great start for Alex whether you like it or not or want to accept it or not.Hope Broken Heels and One Shot are both Top 10 tomorrow.

Anyway, the person who is saying Alex won't make it big in Europe is crazy. Fair enough if it was actually a prediction. But she's already broken through Europe/Scandinavia so how can you 'predict' she'll flop.

 

It's actually weird how i was dreading BH's chart performance over here when she's fastly becoming an international superstar. As i think Karl or marrb said, She's top 3 in Norway, Sweden and Finland. Top 10 in Belgium and Top 20 in Netherlands, Luxembourg and possibly a few more.

 

Just face facts, she will become huge.
