#1.

Keeping Owl City at #2; with Marina & The Diamonds debuting at #3.

It will be replaced at #1 by a no doubt vomit inducing bad cover version Charity single being organised by Simon Cowell & Cheryl Cole for the Haiti disaster fund (on the request of PM Gordon Brown).

Knowing how ground breakingly innovative Simon Cowell is he has got one of his minnons going through the Glee songbook as I type.

Don't forget the Sport Relief single to come out in March/April sometime, that will obviously be a cover version.

I'm normally against such things, but we must have a campaign to stop this monstrosity from reaching #1. ANYTHING BUT, SRSLY.

:cheer:

I wouldn't be happy if it didn't have as many weeks at #1 than the very average "Replay".

Anyone think this could go as far as....dare I mention it.....the biggest selling single of 2010? :naughty:

I do love "Fireflies", but that's still going to get at least one week at #1 :)

I actually think there is more change of a campaign to get this to #1 at Christmas, instead of the X Factor Winner 2010 :P

I would be happy to throw my weight behind a campaign to see Marina & The Diamonds be #1 ahead of JedWard.

But I can't see the Great British Record buying public have that much taste.

It was funny when people we were watching it for free on TV but the prospect of people buying this makes me physically sick.
February/March/April + Jedward/Cowell Haiti/Sport Relief = Montrosity for the next 3 months, British music at its worst.

It has a bit of the rudebox type brit-rap, it's catchy. Top 10 perhaps even top 5. Hopefully not a no1, it would be hugely unfair... :puke2: Chartwise it'll probably trouble top10 to be pushed down after the brits  . I personally don't like it at all but that's only one copy less for 'them'

(Jedward lol what a name! real inspiration :hithead: )

By the way, why is everyone so sure Marina was heading for no1! I would say she would have peaked at 11, so now she will have to compromise with 12....

And we all thought Owl City would have a long run at #1, its not going to happen now  with all the poor releases in the next 2 months, its going to fill that void.

There should be a Sport Aid Charity single to come out in March.

If it's true that Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole are going to organise a charity single in aid of the Haiti disaster, this will prove that Simon Cowell is officially the UK Singles Chart. He gets X Factor related acts to no. 1 between Oct-Dec successfuly. Now he's going to try to bag the no. 1 throughout the whole of 2010.

There's bound to be another RATM style backlash somewhere along the line.

I was looking forward to these few months as a period unaffected by Simon Cowell after the complete saturation of X Factor but alas...I guess we just can't escape.

I would love this song to flop but will probably be number one. -_- :puke2: Seriously can't believe this thread is serious. :manson: :???:

the biggest selling single of 2010?

oh christ! :puke: I'm not going to be able to sleep now  number 1 is bad enough...

having said that, the x factor single was number 1 but no way near the EoY top 10.

Well the x factor single wasn't good, this is :P

I'm with you, I just can't see Marina being as huge as everyone is predicting

Well the x factor single wasn't good, this is :P

compared to the x factor single, the x factor single is a masterpiece and that really is saying something because it's crap! :(

And they can't even sing a single note in tune, its just plain awful I'm really dreading the whole concept of this week after week on my ears.
