So many artists cannot produce sth good so fast and all together, they will probably team up like a choir... and as much as I may love many of them the result of such acts usually is an abomination... I can only hope that many from Simon's list will refuse to sing and will just support the single

Exactly what I was thinking but tbh it's just egomanic Cowell seeing an opportunity to make money/have a successful single. He probably also has the ambition to make something that will rank alongside the Band Aid charity single and be remembered for generations to come. That being said, if it includes those artists there's no way I won't buy it. Although I can't imagine a toned down GaGa.

rihanna's song redemtion song is great, so if that gets released here i'll buy that instead to help support.

Despite the fact it will be ANOTHER cover, with so many good acts on it, it may actually be quite amazing.

One can only hope Leona, Alex, Beyonce and Gaga would sing on the same song but I am sure it is more wishful thinking-plus why include Cheryl her lack of vocal talent will be woefully shown up.There must be at least 5 charity singles for Haiti in the works not sure why they do not just encourage people to buy Rhianna's Redemption song.

Gaga also has a busy schedule, has had to cancel several concerts due to exhaustion. Do you really think she is going to have time to be a part of this considering she has already done her part for Haiti. It is completely fabricated by the media in order to draw attention.
