yeah, I've been on the forums a few times but it doesn't interest me at all when people are sending the latest Rihanna/GaGa hits and finishing top 3 :lol:

That's not true at all.

 

Yes, known songs do win most of the time but there are a lot of great discoveries to be made as well. There actually is more variety than in BJSC, IMO. You almost never see a real rock song here. Only pop songs with some "rocky" parts maybe. That is different (and better) in NSC, IMO. And the spinoffs are a lot of fun as well.

 

I like both contests equally. But I'm more proud of a good result in here than in NSC. Not that I had one over there yet. :kink:

I agree with this, there is alot more diversity in NSC and that obviously means you have to take the good with the bad, it's more of a mixed bag than BJSC is. That's nice though because I really get the feeling in NSC that any genre of song could win if it was strong enough....a feeling I don't get here at all.

 

I feel I'd be more proud of a good result on here then on NSC, mostly because I've had a few 5th/6th placers and spinoff wins over at NSC while I've only once made the top ten in BJSC (and scraped in at 10th)

 

Sometimes I can't believe I've been here over a year and haven't had any mega hitters yet :( "One day" is a long way off I think :P

The Kingdom of Shadow's entry into BJSC XXIV, Tinashe made one last ditch effort to win votes today. After becoming too lazy to continue his world tour he performed a short televised session which shall be able to be viewed by most uncensored BJSC media outlets. The london-based performer has been seen in the same circles as BRIT award-winning Ellie Goulding, BJ favorite Erik Hassle and is currently supporting The Noisettes on tour but will he receive the same success as these guys in his first BJSC? In a three song set Tinashe performed 'Mayday' the title track from his new EP due out mid-march (pre-order your copy now to avoid disappointment), the beautiful 'Miss You' and his BJSC entry, mixed by Kissy Sell Out, 'Come On Over'.
