May 4, 201015 yr The saxophone hasn't sounded so good since 'Infinity 2008' by Guru Josh Project and 'Destination Calabria' by Alex Gaudino Vs Crystal Waters in 2007. ^_^ It's not so peculiar to hear a saxophone in a dance track when you consider these tracks. Yeah, I suppose. Incidentally, Infinity 2008 was also a huge European hit late-2008. Maybe we're onto something.
May 6, 201015 yr Call me mad but I'm actually beginning to think a UK label will pick this up and release it later in the year (maybe thats partly wishful thinking) but its been such a big hit I can't see them ignoring it. Like Rich said, give him some airplay and tv exposure it would fly into the top 10 IMO.
May 8, 201015 yr Author It's already been premiered on French radio. I'm not really a fan of it though :(
May 8, 201015 yr It's already been premiered on French radio. I'm not really a fan of it though :( I checked out out two other Stromae tracks on YouTube and wasn't impressed. Seems like Stromae could well be one of those massive one hit wonders for me. Unless he makes a huge comeback in 2012. :D Edited May 8, 201015 yr by Hitstastic
May 21, 201015 yr Alors on Danse is #597 on UK iTunes!!!! I think Stereo Love must've given it a little bit of exposure, as both of the songs are by DJ Team. I'm really shocked by this though. I mean, as far as I know, this song has had 0 exposure in the UK, so the fact that anybody is buying it is a bit of a shock to me.
May 21, 201015 yr Worst song since Pitbull's 'I Know You Want Me', and that's quite a hard feat. to beat in itself. :puke:
May 21, 201015 yr Worst song since Pitbull's 'I Know You Want Me', and that's quite a hard feat. to beat in itself. :puke: I liked that song too. :D I can understand why people wouldn't like it though. Alors on Danse can be quite a reptitive song, for one thing, but I like it a lot nonetheless.
May 21, 201015 yr MY GOD. This is so addictive, considering it's got some french guy sounds drunk babbling on it.
June 4, 201015 yr seems to be a UK remix getting some airplay....sounds pretty good! anyone have any more info? rcZ9YdazPi8
June 4, 201015 yr :( I guess it was only a matter of time before somebody did an English language version of 'Alors On Danse'. ...'So We Skank'?!!! :manson: I'll stick with the original Stromae version thanks. :D
June 4, 201015 yr Yeah, but it's still a $h!t cover :( We want the original NOW. Maybe time to start another Facebook campaign? :kink:
June 4, 201015 yr Yeah, but it's still a $h!t cover :( We want the original NOW. Maybe time to start another Facebook campaign? :kink: Perhaps if enough of us ask Radio 1 to play the song on their next request show, they might decide to look into the song. Another option would be if people start buying the version by DJ Team on iTunes, and get it into the top 200 or something. It's currently #891, but I've seen if in the top 600 before, and it might've got higher as I'm not watching the feed 24/7. I suppose them playing a remix of it is better than nothing, but it would've been nice if the remix was actually called Alors on danse, like Lumidee's remix is, so that people know where it came from. June 4, 201015 yr Wonder if I should start another Facebook campaign :kink:  But if you're being serious, I don't think a campaign would do very well in this situation though, because there's probably only a few dozen people in the country who actually care, unfortunately. However, this is one of those times I'd be delighted if I were proven wrong. Edited June 4, 201015 yr by Eric_Blob
June 4, 201015 yr I'm not THAT serious... But surely this tune has to make it over here in some way, shape, or form soon?
June 5, 201015 yr On second listen it's rather genius btw  But I wish it had the original production...
