I'm compiling my nominations at the moment....although I'm not sure if a song I'd nom would be in the firing line.

 

I don't see a point in nomming something that's currently top of the charts since usually people steer clear of them anyway. I'm looking at possible cheap upcoming songs.

I have just noticed a major flaw in this process actually (should I be criticising my own idea? :lol:) in that if anything really cheap leaks in the two weeks between the banlist closing and confirmation closing it will still be eligible to be sent, I mean for example if On A Misson had leaked this time next week, somebody could send it...the only thing I can think of that is due to leak is new Christina Aguilera material but I guess her first two singles are covered by the current AF rule anyway so I'm not overly bothered about that...

 

but I still have a gut feeling that something cheap that leaks next week or something that was too late to block will win this contest :( hopefully people will resist the urge to send whatever it might be :lol:

 

It's a flaw but it covers most of the big ones I reckon - Christina's covered, so yeah.

 

I don't think anybody's nominating anything atop the charts at the moment in all honesty? :/ I assume people have the sense to know that entering something like Fireflies makes angels commit suicide.

I'm finding it kinda hard to decide what songs I should nom for cheapness.....

 

the line between uninspired and plain cheap is very blurry for me at the moment :(

Backlashes against the uninspired haven't generally happened in the last six months though, I guess Tinchy Stryder just wasn't quite BJSC friendly enough in the first place (i.e. not the latest pretty female pop star with indie tendencies) :lol: hence the rule changes this month...

I've nominated 2 songs that are on the release schedule, the one fresh leak and the one that's been around for ages. :o I thought it was kinda unnecessary for me to give a vote to particular two songs as i think hope they will be banned anyway :kink:

There's nothing to say people can't nominate something that hasn't leaked yet. I may have received a nomination of Christina's single, I didn't think to say it was banned anyway. Oh well.
