It's not in the poll, but I could see Chiddy Bang's Opposite of Adults doing quite well next week. I'd love to see Two Door Cinema Club charting as well as UM is released, but it'll probably be lucky to even go top 75 given that Radio 1's more or less ignored it.

Daniel I really hope Alicia and Dizzee/Flo swap in your predictions officially. A number 1 single for her is LONG overdue and would truly be deserved, however I can't say the same for Dizzee & Flo. (As i've expressed my feelings elsewhere :P) So here's to hoping Alicia manages to gain on them and manages to do it! :D (Or Jason DeRulo at LEAST :D)

It's possible that Alicia could do it, especially considering she has a physical release that will help her out. If I had to choose I would agree with you, but I think You Got the Love is a true phenomenon of a song and I would be very suprised if the mash-up of it, that has given it new life, doesn't hit #1.

 

But I have gotta say I do have a soft spot for YGTDL, so I hope it gets #1 this week, and then Alicia can have the week of death, but I know that will never happen :sigh:

Probably so it will have more of a chance to hit No.1 - with the strength and legs of the current Top 4 songs and all the new releases it would stuggle (and it hasn't done well on Irish iTunes I don't think, so it's no wonder they are getting cold feet) and it would also give it more time for airplay and hype to increase.

It was only a matter of time before something got pushed back to be honest. And with this being Daisy's lead and first single it makes sense tbh.

Songs are released a few days earlier as their chart starts and finishes on different days to us.

I *want* to like Jason DeRulo's songs... But singing his name at the start of all of his songs puts me off. I know GaGa does it and that I stan for her, but saying 'GaGa' isn't like going 'Jason DeRulo'... It's so much less blatant :P

I can't see Sugababes and JLS missing Top10 now: the former because they are #7 and nearing #5 in Irish iTunes when they are doing better in UK than in Ireland, and the latter because of their fanbase and huge promotion. Same with Jason Derulo: for me it's just should be a minor Top15 hit but it seems people love it and it will be massive, I'd say Top3 at least.

 

I'm quite worried about Ellie, hopefully she'll get Top10 too. As for Daisy - good that the released was pushed back a week.

 

Theoretically all four (JLS, Jason, Sugababes, Ellie) could go Top10 as ##7-10 aren't really strong in iTunes now. But it is very rare now when we see 4 climbers/new entries / re-entries in the Top10.

Some JLS fans still have it in their head that One Shot will be number 1.. Have explained to them a few times it has no chance but no one seems to be listening

To have it not get top 10 ? Although it has already peaked at number 6.. I don't know what the fans would do :lol:

 

 

Well, JLS might actually even peak on their physical release. But now we have about 60k+ for being #1. If they fans do that... I won't know what to say. :lol:

I think JLS has already peaked by far. Can only see One Shot scrapping into the top 10 next week. Video was released weeks too early imo.
