March 6, 201015 yr It's weird, but I'm loving Boom Boom Pow even more every time I hear it, almost 9 months after it's release. I still love all MMH and IGAF but BBP is slowly growing more on me.
March 7, 201015 yr I was expecting Meet Me Halfway to win, as Boom Boom Pow is a bit marmite, if you know what I mean. But they're both amazing songs, and two of the best number ones from last year. I do have respect for anybody who deviates from the intro, verse, chorus, verse, chorus, bridge, chorus, chorus, outro formula (or slight variations of it), so I liked Boom Boom Pow, and their album in general a lot for that reason. I was re-reading a thread on here, where people heard Boom Boom Pow for the first time. It was very funny, because they were all very negative about the song, and were all like "Who knows, it might surprise us and get into the top 40". Little did they know, it became the best-selling song in the world, in 2009. :D
May 19, 201015 yr OMG, I am absolutely shocked! It's because I didn't know there was an album vote but Now Generation is last?! It's my favorite on the album!! I would've given it a very high score. 4.94 doesn't do it any justice... Why is it last? It's wonderful.
May 20, 201015 yr Thank f*** IGF wasn't too high. Dreadful song. I disliked it from the beginning but by being overplayed it's got even more unlistenable for me. 'Imma Be' should've been #1 imo, but I'm glad (and quite surprised!) it came as high as 4th. Hopefully 'Boom Boom Pow' will come out on top, the second best song on the album for me definitely (just behind 'Imma Be'). Agree completely, IGF is so incredibly overrated and both Imma Be and BBP are immense tracks.
