The episode (involving Leslie's bachelorette party) is BOUND to be incredible.

I LIKED THE BACHELORETTE EPISODE but you'd expect MAYHEM and that there was not!! still a good episode, testament to how good a series is tbh when a good episode is a low point!!

Everything about that wedding episode showed exactly why this is the best show on tv right now. So perfect.
I watched the pilot episode earlier from the BBC4 broadcast, and although it took a while to get going, I rather enjoyed it! Amy Poehler was of course amazing, and I really liked Rashida Jones and Chris Pratt too. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I like the mockumentary style. At half way through, I was considering whether to watch another episode, but I think I'll keep going with it - could anybody tell me which are the best seasons for if I get to the end and want to watch more? :P
I watched it on BBC Four last night, and although some parts of it were good - I couldn't really get into it. Hopefully it picks up later in series 1.
It won't. It picks up a LOT in series two and then majorly in series three though.

I missed it on BBC4 yesterday :(

Everyone i've talked to about it also says to just plow through the 1st season because it's all about the later ones. Will try to watch it on iPlayer later.

I now own the book: Pawnee - The Greatest Town in America! Love this show

The best seasons to get are 2, 3, 4 and 5! (There is only 5 so far)

The first season isn't the best but it does set the show up very well.

Like Pavel said it kinda doesn't. 106 starts to show it's true potential. Thankfully it only had a 6 episode first season and everything improves leaps and bounds from the second the second season starts.

Little irritating that BBC4 is airing the 2nd and 3rd episodes the wrong way round :(

Indeed. Why wait when there're 5 seasons of it out already :D

The first season was such a bad starting point. Luckily it is only six episodes.

Season 2 onwards is where the magic happens.

I really don't understand the hate for season 1. I think Boys Club and The Reporter are two of my favourite episodes. Even the pilot is pretty great - the "broke my clavicle" and the travel pillow bit are hilarious.

Season 2 is easily the best season though... for me I would rank them:

Season 2 > Season 3 = Season 1 > Season 4 > Season 5.

I think season 5 has been pretty terrible so far with just a few moments of greatness. I think the best bit so far has been the Borat and Neve Campbell impressions.

3 >> 2 >>>> 4 = 1 >> 5

YES

3 >> 2 >>>> 4 = 1 >> 5

YES

What's wrong with season 5?
