Yeah, hopefully the w/e effect won't have taken place yet (when does that actually kick in - 7/8pm when the radio stations start playing "the beats" or whatever the young 'uns call it these days, or 11pm/1am when the clubs empty, or some other time?).

 

Its had two days of good gains this week (Monday and Thursday) and two days where its stalled (Tuesday and Wednesday) ...

It would make no sense at all IMO - the song is in high rotation on Radio Airplay (apart from Radio 1) and therefore even although it isn't selling the album ni great quantities, its still selling it (album climbing last 2 weeks).

 

There's time for OMH and another single and then a lull period late autumn with no single until a possible repackage with a deluxe. Pulling IGY now would just extend that lull period where nothing is selling the album, whereas keeping it "sent" to radio spreads out the single coverage and therefore album sales.

 

Oops, just went wildly O/T - back to iTunes :o and this damned weekend effect :rofl:

Well maybe force was the wrong word.

 

I do like Rihanna but just dont feel Rude Boy or Russian Roulette are that good compared to the singles of her last album.

 

 

same here, i am reaching that point were some of her songs pass me by,whereas nearly all the songs from the last lp made me take an interest.although rudeboy is better than RR,esp the video!! :D :wub:

Seriously, that Florence-Dizzee song is an awful mashup and Dizzee has the most annoying voice in the world and is pretty talentless if you ask me. I wish they'd both f*** off for a second and let Alicia be #1 on iTunes beofre the deathweek. :mellow:

But both songs are on the album arent they ?

So even if they both don't get released it.. I can see them getting top 10/20 at least

Two versions of DSB by Glee give them a Top10.

 

And #8-10 are quite weak, I hope it'll help the new releases on Sunday to climb in. :)
