I think a lot of the Kanye hate on BJ comes from BJ's deep hatred of rap music as well. Bah at you all.

I think a lot of the Kanye hate on BJ comes from BJ's deep hatred of rap music as well. Bah at you all.

His video was similar because he hired the EXACT same directors (So-Me) as an apology of sorts, and because he became a huge fan. Not sure how that's copying?

 

Lawlz @ the Taylor Swift incident. He was an ass clearly but come on people are still acting like he murdered her. She's an adult; she can handle herself. Plus it was hilarious ultimately LOL. I like how NO ONE here really cared when he did it to Justice, but as soon as he does it to poor Taylor Swift everyone kicks up a fuss. Goodness Buzzjack is so sensitive. You can tell he's a super sweet guy underneath it all. And his arrogance just makes him more lawlz and amazing (honestly though he does have the artistry to back it up, four f***ing solid albums, two of which are stunning). Again, Buzzjack is literally the only place that still hates him with such a passion besides like conservative America and Taylor Swift forums lawlz. Grats.

 

I will always love him. <3 Can't hate him, ever. The College Dropout was my #9 album of the decade.

 

I didnt know it was the same directors, to me it looked more like he was jealous at Justice beating him (which he was) so he just ripped off their video.

 

I agree about the no one caring about Justice bit, obviously i'm not a fan of Taylor Swift, I do think it was unnessarcary how he acted though, but yes there was a bit too much of a uneeded outrage over it.

I definatly dont hate rap music, infact the fact I love it is why I hate Kayne. (cos he ruins the genre).

Seeing how he won Villain of The Year at the NME Awards last night, do I take it you are a big fan of previous winners of this same award Robbie Williams; Osama Bin Laden; Simon Cowell & George W. Bush?

He might be a musical genius (although of that genre I think he is nothing compared to Dr Dre or Chuck D), but in my eyes that does not justify behaving like a Grade A See You Next Tuesday.

Kanye West IS a twat. I'm sure his picture in the dictionary would be next to that word. From what I've seen, he is everything I don't like in a person, and the fact he makes passable music is no excuse.

I honestly didnt know what happened with Justice

 

I know its not a huge deal and it was great TV, but at the end of the day even you have to admit it wasnt nice

 

and if you think BJ is the only place that still hates him, then, as TIP said, look at the NME awards winners this year

I've always been rather indifferent to Kanye's music tbh. He had some strong stuff back when he started out, his 2004 material was a highlight for him imo. I've not been too won over by recent material but 2007's Stronger (first UK #1?) was brilliant.

Kanye West is an egotistical twat that makes vastly over-rated music. The reason that BJ hates him so much is that there is a large majority of Brits on this board and usually Brits can't stand arrogant tossers like him. Nothing to do with not liking hip-hop.

 

I'm sorry but Stronger is one of the most over-rated songs of all time. It was supposed to be his masterpiece and all he does is rap over a Daft Punk track.

 

Christ he wouldn't get anywhere near a list of true hip-hop visionaries and trailblazers.

Ok, so maybe it wasn't a particularly nice thing to do, but at least it made sure it wasn't 'just another awards show'.

 

I don't understand how people can criticise someone like Leona Lewis for having no personality (which I don't believe is true btw) and at the same time strongly dislike someone like Kanye for having a personality. It truly baffles me. But then so do most things about BJ really.

i.) Estelle - i find her rude? i dunno why especially when she said she can do the hook on run this town better than rihanna

ii.) Kanye West - urmm rude and attention seeking, no respect to people winning awards, didn't even say 'please' to borrow taylor's mic

iii.) Ellie Goulding - the voice is just annoying :P
