I think the whole 3 part thing is ridiculous, one single each album is a joke and the singles haven't been the best + a lack of promotion... maybe she should have just made one strong album, rather than confusing none die hard fans who just want one album!

no1curr's about where robyn charts, the indie community luvs her and for that she'll always have support / success
She's still got Sweden for people who care about chart success, she's currently #1 and #2 in the album chart and #3 and #5 in the singles!

Oh god I know.

This thread is TEDIOUS. The Body Talk albums have been successful - her profile has been raised drastically in the US, critically acclaimed albums, sellout shows etc. I'm surprised Dancing On My Own even went top ten (definitely due to how strong the song was/is - come on, the majority didn't care that Robyn made a comeback). You just need to get your heads around the fact that With Every Heartbeat was a fluke/miracle and stop basing her success off that. She isn't the sort of artist who needs to be at the top with Katy Perry and Taio Cruz etc. I'm sure the label is heaps pleased with how everything has turned out.

Body Talk (1,2,3) is definitely one of the more impressive/exciting/interesting things to happen in music this year.

mhmhmhm, she's selling out huge venues here. i'm pretty sure kelis opened for robyn during the all hearts tour? and kelis charts way higher than robyn in the US (robyn hasn't had a single in the top 100 since the 90s lul). and shows are where the $$$ is at.
I was at the NYC show for the All Hearts Tour and while people were def pumped for Kelis, when Robyn came on they went wild and that venue was PACKED i couldnt move there was so many people, i would have never expected that many people to show up to see her. What normally would be a 15 second walk from the front of the room to the back took about 3 minutes trying to get through everyone. So yeah i dont think the undeperformance of the albums/singles is really affecting her that much since everybody knew all the songs (even The Girl and The Robot)

I'm assuming this is the version of 'Indestructible' that will appear on Pt. 3:

LISTEN HERE

I wasn't sure if it work upbeat, but it clearly does. AMAZING.

Hopefully the album edit does it a little more justice, 3:22 seems a bit short?

Absolutely LOVE the cover :o

This sounds like a number one (and not just in Sweden). I love that they kept the gorgeous strings in the middle 8 but technoed them up a bit. The final chorus is explosive. Total winner.

The single mix is brilliant, can't wait to see the artwork for 'Body Talk Pt 3'. :D
Dancing On My Own, Hang With Me and Indestructible is literally the greatest trio of singles of ALL TIME. Well, recent times. Such quality sustained is so rare.

I think I'd have liked a bit more kick to it really, like more dancey maybe.

Having said that, I still love it. Robyn can do no wrong in my opinion.

I'll raise you Since U Been Gone, Behind These Hazel Eyes, Because Of You.

This trio is in the top five though.
