Wow! That performance of Freak Like Me was just incredible! I think the current line-up is definitely the strongest vocally. :heart:

Actually, Freak was 2.0 material which would make me a 2.0 loon.

 

A fact i am very proud of. 4.0 wishes they were 1% as good as 2.0

Not to mention we were listening to 2 very different things. The other 3 tracks were brill, the Freak Cover was dire.

All 4 performances were amazing. Rabbit Heart is one of my fave Sugababes covers now.

They would have Siobhan go in there dressed as a cleaner and she'd slip her albums on the chairmans desk with a note saying "Let me know what you think".

The intro to the song is entirely f***ed, they harmony is of RE the original, Jade invents an ad-lib in the first verse where there hasn't been one and never needs to be one, the Amelle/Jade harmony in the second verse is dire vs the Mutya/Keisha version. The extended notes by all three girls kill the song, and Jade get far to warbly-leona like for my liking.

while i'll agree 4.0 FLM acoustic isn't as good as the 2.0 studio it certainly wasn't out of place although i did wonder why they didn't perform WMK. Agreed about the 3 other performances.

I don't think it would be the end of the world if Amelle, Jade, and Heidi continued on with a different name (I highly doubt their last 2 singles have been selling off the Sugababes name alone)

 

but if it's true that all 3 of the originals are filing together, it seems like a bit of a slap in the face to Heidi, who was a Sugababe MUCH longer than Siobhan

 

Siobhan and Mutya both voluntarily walked out on the group, and Heidi and Amelle came in to keep it going...so can we really say that Siobhan and Mutya are more deserving of being called Sugababes? they walked away from the group, stopped talking to each other, and now they all suddenly care about who the Sugababes are?

That is also amazing.

I think 4.0 pull it off acoustically better than 2.0 ever could. But I agree it doesn't match the studio version(in it's hayday)

I never tire of reading through these threads. :lol: They go round and round in circles and get nobody anywhere lol... As for me personally, I think Keisha's a complete twat, and I hope her solo career nosedives completely. :magic: If these bully claims weren't true, why wouldn't she have come out and said this? At the end of the day, she's managed to push Siobhan, Amelle and Heidi out of the group, yet the way people go on about her as if she's some sort of saint is baffling.

 

I don't know her personally, I've never met her, and I never want to. Bullying in any workplace is vile, and she seems to have been amongst the worst kind. :blink: But Y'KNOW - QUEEN K, #TEAMKEISHA etc. Say what you want, I think she's horrendous, and yes I AM a 4.0 'loon' - well a FAN of the current line-up, particularly Jade as many people know. About a Girl and Wear My Kiss are probably my favourite two Sugababes songs ever tbh - from all four line-ups.

 

The current line-up is the fiercest, sexiest and most vocally strong line-up of all four imo. And tbh, if all this does go ahead, maybe a rebrand wouldn't be too bad... At least then all ties with Quiche will have been cut off. They'll blatantly just change the final 's' to a 'z' or something though to create Sugababez. :P
