Nelly Furtado's 'Maneater' surprised me, but only because her previous efforts post 'Whoa Nelly' flopped.

I have to agree with Run This Town as well actually - although I'm very glad it managed it.

 

Peter Kay's Animated All Star Band too - it made #11 on iTunes and then plummeted, so I was pretty shocked when it still went on to be #1... for 2 weeks.

I never expected Dizzee's Dance Wiv Me to get to number 1 since he never really seemed like a strong single selling artist beforehand. Very happy it did though. I was surprised with Basshunter too but I wasn't happy at all with that one. Considering how much airplay Tinie was getting on radio 1 and hearing the public reaction, I had a feeling he would nab it.
