Fairytale #69 :o give a great song some promo and see what happens! it's 10-38 dive in the charts last year was completely unjustified, radio and music channels should have got behind it like the rest of the European media did...

I think they should made a Rude Boy Remixes EP (which included the music video) instead of just TC Remix.

 

The TC Remix is awesome. But Wideboys remix is much better and Trickbabies Remix too. :D

I really thought Parachute would have charted higher. Maybe around #4. I guess it's a trend of third/followup singles; Broken Heels, One Shot, I Got You (although we know why that didn't do as well as it could have :rolleyes:)

if she did Live Lounge, Ross and Sport Relief it probably would've gone higher. She hasn't done any promo for the song, only a single performance back in December. It's out-peaked 3 words in Ireland though

 

According on Jonathan Ross last night, Plan B was meant to come on in a couple of weeks, so perhaps Cheryl will take his spot and be on then, rearrange live lounge for the same day and get some other TV appearances and give the single a boost later on.

 

Physicals will probably help her too, I expect it'll only probably climb to 9 or 8 this week though. It's sold over 114k already mind, more than Untouchable did in its chart run (103k)

Good to see the TC Remix of Rude Boy finally released - it's an awesome remix, I think I'll buy it tomorrow.

I doubt Cheryl will manage to get top 5 with this single even with promo in the next few weeks.. Think it will be too late by then

Number 8 is still amazing considering its the 3rd single & she hasn't done much promo for it. The album has sold quite a bit and is still in the top 30..I guess sales are what matter really

Telephone has already had over 6 million hits on youtube. I think it will be No 1 for sure once the video is all over the music channels.Maybe Rhianna might just do it next week, I do not know what happened in Ireland, I smell a rat.
