If only the video Alex filmed two weeks ago was for All Night Long, the momentum would be building up until her release.

So The Silence is not going to be released as a single? I think this one will miss Top 10 since her last single scraped TOP 10.

This single is FAR superior to Cheesy Broken Heel's though, so Hopefully it will outpeak Broken heel's a bit like Cheryl Cole 3 words and Parachute.

All night long should do a hell of a lot better than broken heels

 

Although, untouchable by GA was a hell of a lot better than the loving kind but it still had the same success.

But Untocuhable got absolutely no promotion, bar a single performance over a month before the release.

 

And don't get me started on the artwork <_<

No but it's speculated that a video for The Silence has been filmed. It seems they've changed it last minute in favour of All Night Long.

 

I don't think you can really judge a song's chart position based on the artist's previous single. Broken Heels only really targeted the same audience as BB - who the buyers of that would probably have bought the album. All Night Long is more "in" and appeals to more people (it's not about the superiority of women or chasing bad boys). Plus the more up-tempo version (which features Pitbull) is the real single version so people will most likely buy that on release week as well as the original. Great marketing strategy.

 

I think this will peak at #4/#5.

Disagreed, The Loving Kind was gorgeous, one of my all time top 3 GA singles :wub: Untouchable is in my 3 least favourites, stunning as a full length album track but as a single I would have preferred Miss You Bow Wow. Didn't think much of the radio edit of Untouchable :( I bought it though of course as I've bought every GA single on the day of release since Sound Of The Underground[/loon] :lol:

Boyzone is up to #14 and #43 with Gave It All Away and Love Is a Hurricane at #54. :o I think this week Boyzone could reclaim the top spot on the albums charts officially.

 

Also, Miss Burke is up to #53. With her awesome new track. :D All Night Long is such a tune.

I hope GaGa can make it to number 1 on Itunes at some stage..I'm getting sick of Tinie being at the top..going into it's 4th week now :(

No it isn't. But they've done a really clever thing by releasing this. The single version features Pitbull (please listen before you judge, it's actually very good) so people will be downloading the album version, for hype and stuff, to give it momentum, and then when the single is released, it will get an extra boost as people will also be wanting to download the track they've been hearing on radio and everything. Clever marketing if you ask me. (Well I wasn't going to complain about this song getting a release as I am in LOVE with it anyway :lol:). Easily her best to date imo.

'All Night Long' is much better and I reckon it'll be one of those singles to have a really decent chart run within the Top 10 - maybe like 'Hot N Cold', 'Disturbia', 'Don't Stop The Music' etc. ^_^

Totally agree. All Night Long is way better than the 'meh' Broken Heels. When my mum saw the video she tried to dance and sing like her. :lol:. Result: EPIC FAIL! B)

Anyway, on the subject of All Night Long, this is bound to do well and, as Jack said, it's likely to do a DSTM, Disturbia chart run. By the looks of things, the video will probably also be like DSTM :D
