She just said on the red carpet at the Justin Bieber premiere that the third album will be "a little more upbeat, a little darker." :D

:o That's fantastic news! That's probably what I'll be looking forward to most on the album now! :)

She's in the studio with Ryan Tedder at the moment. Both excites me and worries me as they do make amazing songs together but they simply can't release a song produced by him as the first single. Unless it doesn't sound like anything he has ever done before and I doubt that will happen because you can always tell with his productions.

I am starting to believe all these are just rumors so that the fans do not forget Leona has an album on board due to release god knows when...

I think they've simply put to much thought on it... If people like it they will buy it. Is it guaranteed that if they wait another year they will find *more worthy* songs? She is a big artist of a big label will all available tools in their hands... It is not as if they are waiting for Leona to write the songs and music on her own from her lifetime experience! (if they do have sb who could right a big song for her, he probably has already done so)

This is Leona's cousin and he's a great producer. He produced the fantastic tour remixes of Forgive Me and Take A Bow as well as her covers of They Don't Care About Us and Sweet Dreams.

Leona: 'LP has different, classic sound'

 

Leona Lewis has confirmed that her third album will have a "different" but "classic" sound.

 

The 'I Got You' singer is currently working on the follow-up to number one LPs Spirit and Echo. Lewis previously revealed that she was experimenting with "different sounds" on the album.

 

"I'm really, really excited about it," she told Access Hollywood. "I'm working with some new producers, some up and coming people and it's going to be kind of a different sound - but still classic."

 

Lewis has already teamed up with David Guetta and Dallas Austin for the album and has recently reunited with 'Bleeding Love' hitmaker Ryan Tedder.
