Just listened. Not as bad as her other stuff, however it just does nothing for me. Sounds dated now too. Good video though. What can I say? I'm just not a Kelis fan.

 

Well obviously, the song IS from 2000. The production on it is immense and it had the fresh Neptunes sound on it. She never topped that for me.

I figured that Roll Deep hadn't had a hit/radio supported single in 5 years, so didn't expect them to pick this one up, although with the recent renewed success of Wiley and Skepta, I guess it makes sense.

It's safe to say that this would have caused a mass walkout/protest and would have been quite awful for Hendinia! It's not like the song had been massively over-exposed before it went on the playlist - I only heard it through Rob's 'what song is this' thread.

Could Hendinia prove to be Nonsuch's biggest threat this month? :o Far from Rob's fear of DNQ'ing with it, it's practically a guaranteed top 3 in my opinion.

I don't think it will go THAT big, but it's a guaranteed qualifier and I could say quite easily top 10.
