Posted March 23, 201015 yr The #1 single Telephone by Lady Gaga feat. Beyonce is different in Brazil & South American countries. It is Video Phone by Beyonce feat. Lady Gaga Does anyone know if they are basically the same track? Here is the sleeve http://www.worldcharts.co.uk/images/gaga.jpg Edited March 23, 201015 yr by euro music
March 23, 201015 yr They are both ENTIRELY different...the only thing that's the same is the artists. ;) :P
March 23, 201015 yr  Lol at this thread. Video Phone is a Beyonce song. Beyonce wanted Lady Gaga to appear on the remix of the song for her reissue of I Am... Sasha Fierce last year. Because Beyonce done a vice versa for Lady Gaga's Telephone. Also Beyonce thought Gaga would be fitting as the two songs end in the word 'phone'. The major difference is Beyonce's Video Phone was a MAJOR flop and Lady Gaga's Telephone was a #1 success. :) Edited March 23, 201015 yr by Tacticz
March 24, 201015 yr Much as Beyonce has been on the ball of late, Video Phone was a giant steaming turd, and not even Gaga could polish it.
March 24, 201015 yr I was confused at first as well, back in like December when I first saw the names of the tracks floating about. But the big difference is that Video Phone is awful (I'm STUNNED that it's apparantly hit #1 in any country) and Telephone is fab.
March 24, 201015 yr Video Phone managed to be even more horrendous than Diva which in itself is quite a fantastic accomplishment. Telephone is CLEARLY the better track by miles...

Beyonce is generally fantastic or horrendous, particularly recently - I Am...Sasha Fierce is easily the most mixed quality album I own. Some brilliant classics (Halo, Sweet Dreams) and then Diva, Video Phone etc...which were horrible.
March 24, 201015 yr I think they should make sure there is a gap of at least 50 years between the release of songs with similar titles. It's very confusing.
