New song from Roll Deep, featuring vocals from Jodie Connor. Been C-Listed Radio 1 and getting some fairly good video rotation already. I think if everyone goes right, this could be HUGE. I hope it it is, I absolutely adore it atm. :wub:

sounds like a sub-par 'break your heart' crossed with 'heaven' and all very 90s throwback. bleugh.

I feel very cheap now, I had no idea it was radio-playlisted, had a release date or anything.

Does it sample Heaven by DJ Sammy?

It doesn't sample 'Heaven' but the chord sequence is very similar. When I saw Roll Deep were releasing another single, I was expecting a mid tempo urban grime type song a bit like 'Pass Out' so I was very surprised when I heard this for the first time.

 

It's very commercial and radio friendly yet still has that grime edge to it. I'm sure this will be a hit - just how big a hit is left to be seen. I mean, if Scouting For Girls can get to no. 1 this week... :unsure:
