Photographs next for Rihanna :o ok, will seem like she's doing 3 Words part two but to UK audiences but there we go :heehee:

12th April suddenly looks very busy - Professor Green vs. Kate Nash for #1, Cascada I'm guessing top ten although it's no Evacuate The Dancefloor...not sure about Christina, depends how good it is! Might get a top 20 debut.

12th April suddenly looks very busy

It will be, not just music-wise! :D

I see Keri Hilson has had 'I Like' put back. I hope they give it another date as it's extremely odd how neither TV or radio are playing it - She was quite popular for both.

Glad Photographs is the next single for Rihanna.

Ooh I'm very excited for the new Magic Numbers and Sandi Thom albums, this is shaping up to be a great year for album releases :cheer:

Agreed, its strange as when i first heard Pyromania it screams massive hit to me, it'll prob go top 10 but certainly wont be the hit i thought it would be. Interesting for Christina as i thought they would hold it back. However, if its strong enough it could well climb to the top in May.

19th April I'm pretty certain Chipmunk will get the #1, the following week Roll Deep has the biggest chance now IMO, and I still think Train will be a dark horse in May.

Nothing screams massive in late May though, but I'm thrilled K'naan is coming out here, could be big over the summer thanks to the world cup

Yes Rihanna is releasing Photographs on the 24th May. I love that song. :yahoo: :yahoo: :cheer: :cheer: Photograph is the second best on the album after Rude Boy.

Wow, lots of new releases on downloads this week, just by having a quick scan I can see just about 3 new entries in this week's chart coming from Plan B, Alex, and SFG, mind you nothing really strikes out a major hit from the download only releases this week, maybe Tiesto, MGMT and 30secs to Mars, might land at the back end of the top 40.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! I hate Photgraphs :puke2: Nooooooooooooooooooo!!!!! Please Riri, change it to Te Amo!!!

 oh, she's releasing 'photographs'... I like it but it's just too subtle I reckon. they should have gone with 'fire bomb'! :(

THIS

And I just know Kate's gonna get a #02/03 now to that godawful Professor Green THING. :(

 oh, she's releasing 'photographs'... I like it but it's just too subtle I reckon. they should have gone with 'fire bomb'! :(

I do love Fire Bomb. I just think it been too violent for summer radio. I hope Fire Bomb is the next single. The song is my 3rd fave off the album.

Also Te Amo. I do love Te Amo. I just don't think will catch on people as instantly as Photographs.

Lastly, I can see why she's releasing photographs because it features Will.i.am and he and his Peas are hot are the moment.

They should just cut the Rated R era short and work on the next album which is apparently due for later this year  There is no other commercial song on RR except that Slash! one - Fire Bomb?

Regarding Christina, isn't Not Myself Tonight only getting a release in US on April 13th. I don't understand why Christina and her management would release it early.

I guess i can buy it quicker and it reduces the impact of illegal downloads.

More like invisible horse, has it even had any airplay/video play considering it's supposed to be out in two weeks? :o I think another top 75 scrape if he's lucky, even though I love the song myself!

nah, that's 'rockstar 101' you're thinking of ;) but still, 'fire bomb' should be a single, especially for the summer and all... 'photographs' just isn't a great choice imo.

Ok well that title seems too desperate. Just put this era out of it's misery and shoot it in the head. Rihanna has f**ked up her career.

I thought it may only be a US release date too but I see no reason why they won't add it to Itunes worldwide and release a physical later (if we actually get one)

I see where you're coming from but many US artists (and Leona with Happy) release their lead single to radio/iTunes in the US before anywhere else and then worldwide at a later date.

I might be wrong though, not sure. I'll check for you :D

EDIT: Yeah apparently it's just released in US on 13th April. Someone on DS, another Xtina fan, says the UK will be getting it in May and that Christina will be over here to do some promo in May as well. Britain's Got Talent?

lol @ 'invisible horse'! I've seen it once on 4Music, when it was number 9 on their daily top 10 a few days ago
