Delirious will easily get top 2 at his rate, they about to take Lady GaGa on, if they keep on going at this rate, we definitely get a new top 3 this coming Sunday.

its better than that.. delirious are ahead of SFG on Amazon (we have 1 and 2 there and 14) and HMV (again 1 and 2)

add into that that we only moved into 4th place a few hours ago.. so have made up 10% on SFG in 3 hours...

ok I am hardly neutral and objective on this.. but if I do not think number 1 is a done deal for SFG yet

I think #1 is probably out of the question sadly, as Delirious would need to make number one on iTunes and delevop a vast lead over everything else. Remember we've had 4 out of 7 sales days already. HMV and Amazon really don't count for much unfortunately. #2 should be within reach if Plan B is only a fraction ahead of GaGa, and it'd be a fantastic result.

id agree on a normal week with a normal song - however (from some rough guestimations on the fb campaign) the song is being bought on amazon a lot more often than a regular track would. Amazon has it @ 49p compared to Itunes 79p - and also a lot of the contributors to our campaign are not your "usual" music downloaders... and many do not even have itunes installed.. (so we send them to amazon as its much simpler to set up)

yes number 2/3 is more likely at this point but with 3 versions in the chart (one still miscatagorised by itunes.. were trying to get them to fix it.. its still in the top 10 album chart as a 79p single) and Good Friday/Easter Saturday to come (which are kinda what the whole thing is about anyway) I'm not willing to conceed just yet :)

happy to be proved wrong though

Why would him underperforming make you take him out of your sig?

Surely if you support him, you should support him whether he is doing well or not. (ps, he is a beautiful thing :D)

I was only teasing him :( I will take him out of my sig eventually but not because he flops, bless him. I think I'm going to replace him with Sophie Ellis-Bextor.

Don't forget all those Good Friday Church services could be a factor... ; )

Both Scouting For Girls & Plan B both have additional physical sales to add in the mix too. I really can't Delirious? making number 1

Alex Gardner now #43 on iTunes.

So, there is no way he will be able to conquer a 40 position in the official charts this sunday. :(

I think #3 is the highest they can expect - they gave everything else quiate a head-start, plus so far they only been overtaking old songs - chasing down new releases is a different matter. Also, they are a niche market competing against the music buying mainstream.

Next week, watch out for a McFly-like plummet, too...

#37 Paramore - The Only Exception

#55 30 Seconds to Mars - This Is War

^^Great news, even though with Paramore in particular they could have released something far stronger but I doubt whether something like "Turn It Off" or "Where The Lines Overlap" would be doing as well.

HOLY CRAP DELIRIOUS? ARE #1 :o April Fool's! They're still #3. Happy AFD everyone.

Hah, you almost had me then, I didn't see the grey bit
