Yeah, so to any haters, TAKE THAT.

Who said i liked the whole song? :kink:
Up to now I have only met with those who love/like the whole song (inc. rap) or only chorus ... always one or the other but none ever.

I love both parts equally :D If it was just the rap it wouldn't go anywhere, if it was just the girl singing it would be the most generic song ever - together it's a great combo!

amazing TBH :P...would you stand a Wiley rap instead of Do in Heaven?

My heart is melt only by imagine if she would sing through the whole song as Do did in Heaven

I completely disagree. Some of the most generic songs around have been made infinitely more interesting with rap segments. I used to hate it maybe 10 years ago but it's a genre I listen to a fair bit now. Granted I don't listen to a lot of pure rap songs, but pop/dance/other songs with raps in them are always welcome just to diversify the sound a bit. Even looking at a few of my BJSC entries, Backseat and I'm Going For Your Brother would be poorer without Spank Rock and Young Ivy, particularly the latter.

Well then it would just sound like a complete rip off :heehee:

Back in 2002, no I hated rap in most cases so probably wouldn't have been impressed but the only current example I can think of is Empire State Of Mind, and to be honest I prefer the Jay-Z/Alicia version to the Alicia solo one (even though I'm bored stiff of both of them now).

Rap always adds some spicey note in the song. It is NEVER a bad thing (unless it is Cheapmunk :puke: )
The only rap that I can stand are Keri's 'Knock You Down' and 'Turn Me On' (probably there are more but can't remember them at this time :P)
I've had a rap segment in my last 3 songs, FYI. I'm really growing to like having these rap sections in it.

Indeed! If Botanikka are the well known male/female duo country then Hendinia are quickly becoming the pop/rap collab country! And I see no reason why this won't be your third top five on the trot with the genre even despite some people who will be guaranteed not to vote for it. In my opinion Good Times>>>>>>>>>>>>Number One Enemy>>>Just Like That

Good Times is AMAZE - end of :kink:

You just reminded me Rich, when I DNQ for the first time, I will send this as my next entry:

I'm a fan of the Roll Deep rap it must be said.

My national anthem is Wiley - Take That :kink: I do love a good Pop/Rap combo

I was a MASSIVE Wearing My Rolex fan when it came out, and Roll Deep were behind the first rap track I was truly addicted to actually - The Avenue in summer 2005
The Avenue is brilliant, but it's mostly because the original track it samples (The Maisonettes - Heartache Avenue) is brilliant too

Didn't know you did retro :o

:cheer: tho
