Thanks for all your hard work what a great list-Jennifer Hudson, Alexandra Burke, Lemar, Leona and Will Young for Top 5.Javine sure learnt the hard way what goes around comes around.

Ergh. Michelle McManus and Alex Parks deserve to be farrr lower. Especially Parks :puke:

Same Difference  Listened to 'Pop' the album again the other day, it was amazing  Should have won that years XFactor without a doubt :(

Sarah Whatmore! 'When I Lost You' WHAT A CLASSIC  Jessica Garlick a big fat MEH! even at that 'Come Back' song!

Daughtry however recieve far too much hate -_- Great band and decent albums! Phixx, I agree with Shoat (I think he said it), their stuff sounds alot better now, than it did back then. Their tracks have aged very well.

LOL at some of the Top 20 still to come though:

JLS WOW! Maybe they're not as unpopular on BJ as I originally thought :o

Joe McElderry SERIOUSLY? TOP 20?!

Zoe Birkett I know she had one song, but I really can't remember it. I know that I liked her throughout Idol (I think she was my fave that year)

Thank you for doing this :)

and  Jonjo.. JLS will probably finish 20th

They are quite unpopular on here

20 // Susan Boyle (Britain's Got Talent - Series 3) // 4.58

Wild Horses // #09 (2009)

Susan Boyle was probably the biggest talking point of last years series of Britain's Got Talent. She came 2nd in the third series and ever since her first audition when everyone thought she was going to be some crazy old bat, she made a huge name for herself in both the UK and US. She had one of the biggest selling albums of last year and a Top 10 hit with her cover of 'Wild Horses'. I do think she'll fade into obscurity pretty quickly though, and she isn't worth that much hype imo - her album was a cover's album and I'm sure if she wasn't as batty as she is people wouldn't care as much. Amazing voice though.

19 // Zoe Birkett (Pop Idol - Series 1) // 4.90

Treat Me Like A Lady // #12 (2003)

How she got this high is beyond me but I did quite like her in Idol. Her version of 'Get Happy' is amazing and 'Treat Me Like A Lady' is pretty good too! She came 4th in the first series of Pop Idol and was the highest placed female in her series. Her debut single 'Treat Me Like A Lady' only went in at #12 however and further material was scapped. She is now in a broadway production of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert.

18 // Adam Lambert (American Idol - Series 8) // 4.96

Whataya Want From Me // #20 US (2010)

Adam Lambert came 2nd in the eighth season of American Idol. I'm not a huge fan of his to be honest ... especially the image he gives, but 'For Your Entertainment' and 'Whataya Want From Me' are both pretty decent songs. 'Whataya Want From Me' recently went on to be his biggest hit in the US, going Top 20 in US and #03 in Canada. He's set to release material in the UK very soon with 'For Your Entertainment' getting a release this month.

Everybody In Love // #01 (2009)

The highest boyband on the countdown! Not like it was that hard mind although they are higher than I expected given how many haters they have on here (me, sometimes included, even if 'One Shot' is pretty good). They came 2nd in the fifth series of X Factor and have since been huge in the UK with two #01 singles and a platinum selling #01 album. They are now looking to crack the US and with Taio Cruz and Jay Sean taking off there I'd imagine they stand a good shot!

JLS wouldn't get anywhere near as much derision on BJ if they were a girlband singing the same songs.

Zoe Birkett is ridiculously high. She did ONE song did she not, which as unbearably bad.

16 // Hear'Say (Popstars) // 5.00

Pure & Simple // #01 (2001)

The original Reality TV winners and one of the first, if not THE first winners of a musical reality TV show. They kickstarted a phenomenon within the UK with Pop Idol, Popstars, X Factor, Fame Academy, Britain's Got Talent etc. all springing off because of it. Well partly anyway. They started off pretty well with their first two singles going straight to #01 as well as their album. With their second album things didn't go quite as well with the lead single 'Everybody' going to #04 and the album of the same name #24. Ouch. They then tried to release a further single with a pointless new member, 'Lovin Is Easy' which went in at #06 and crashed down the charts soon after.

SuBo is horrifically overrated. She wouldn't be half as popular if she didn't look the way she does -_- Zoe Birkett, like I said, she was my favourite in that year of Idol, but other than that bleh. Adam Lambert is being dubbed as "the male GaGa" on here especially, I honestly don't see why people are saying that as he's only "alright" imo. JLS get far too much hate. Maybe I should have given them a point or two more... hmmm...

Hear'Say were good back in their day. At least their songs were original :heehee: 'The Way To Your Love' is my favourite of theirs though.

I thought JLS would have been much higher.

GA or Will Young for the win. Everyone else is just $h!t.

15 // Laura White (X Factor - Series 5) // 5.20

You Should Have Known // #32 (2009)

Laura White came 7th in the fifth series of X Factor and was very much recognised as a shock exit I believe. She was probably one of the strongest vocally imo but oh well. Since coming out of X Factor she managed to get a record deal and scored a Top 40 hit with 'You Should Have Known' last year. She is working on new material as we speak apparently.

Sleepwalking // #20 (2006)

Another 'shock exit' from X Factor. She came 7th or something like that in the 2nd series of X Factor. I absolutely loved her during her series - her performance of 'You're Beautiful' in particular was amazing. When she came out of X Factor she managed to score a Top 20 hit with 'Sleepwalking' in 2006 and a #41 album with 'Maria Lawson'. She attempted to release further in material but the lead single 'Breaking Me Down' managed to only crash in at #110. Ouch. Her album and a new single is supposed to come out later this year but I somehow doubt it tbh.

The Climb // #01 (2009)

How he managed to get quite so high is kind of beyond me. I was always under the impression that not many people liked him on here! He was alright in my opinion, I much preffered him over Olly overrated Murs but that really doesn't say that much and I still think Stacey Solomon should've won in a otherwise pretty dire series. He managed to get a #01 single with his winning single, a cover of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb', but not initially as Rage Against The Machine initially beat him to the topspot. He is expected to release an album and a new single later this year ... will be interesting to see how it does and what he comes up with, I'm half expecting something really boring and generic. :(

#12 // Carrie Underwood (American Idol - Series 4) // 5.98

Before He Cheats // #08 US (2006)

Carrie Underwood was the winner of the fourth series of American Idol. She has had HUGE success in the US with three #01 albums and her debut being certified 7x platinum there! Wowza. I don't know too much about her as she isn't my sorta scene but I do love 'Before He Cheats' and 'Last Name' ... that's about it though. She is yet to release any material in the UK either.

Once // #?? (2010)

Diana Vickers came 4th in the fifth series of X Factor but was always a big favourite throughout the series and looks set to have a big hit with her debut single, 'Once'. I was never a huge fan of her as I thought her voice was annoying and she was just disgustingly overrated. I do love 'Once' though so she's doing something right. 'Once' is released on April 19th with her album, 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree' released on 3rd May.
