Woo Florence

Dog Days isn't the best but hopefully she'll release more after this - if it does well. Cosmic Love! ^_^

Wow bruno mars

Would be amazing if Florence went top 10.

"Dog Days Are Over" now #10.

That Rihanna track has a very UK sound :o

I thought that too when I first heard it! I thought it sounds very Roll Deep/Example, which is a good thing in my book. :D

And Florence is #7 now! I bet she's totally overwhelmed by this.

Florence :o The US charts are so much more interesting these days, it used to be all urban and barely anything else but pop and other genres are doing much better now.

Yes, the US charts have been far more interesting compared to the UK charts in the past 12 months, I'd definitely agree with that.

Would be excellent to see 'Dog Days Are Over' get massive success in the USA. I think it's astonishing how it's one place higher than JLS 'The Club Is Alive' in the biggest selling UK singles of 2010 YTD considering its peak but also its longevity. Further proves how dire the UK no. 1 hits have been dropping out as fast as they first entered.

Florance  6! She will get really, really strong sales from this over 100k now ;)

JLS wouldn't have dropped/entered so fast if it wasn't for the fact that we had to wait 2 months from the song premiere until it could be bought. In the US, as you know, songs usually go for download a few days after their premiere (e.g. Only Girl), so they climb and then fall.

Only Girl will probably debut at its peak in the UK, and then fall too. That doesn't make it a dire song, it's just the market in the UK.

Florence #3 :o

That Florence track has been used in loads of TV shows stateside, so I think a lot of ppl were finally able to put a name to the song.
