i know, its so frustrating.

 

i bet it will easily shift another 6k i bet its still selling around 800 copies per week. plus when the next album comes out it will be reduced and sell a few copies then, especially if the next single is released months before the album as people will buy Headlines thinking the single is on there :naughty:

Can't Believe Higher will just fall short of 300k! Maybe if they promote it a bit more it could reach 300k (if they're on something like Comic Relief.. which i hope they will be)

I can see it being top 200 for a while, it's a good weekend hit etc. Sounds weird but has Higher maybe not did as well as it should.. The Flo Rida version has most likely sold 170-180k.. it really should have been more as the hype for the saturdays has been brilliant.

Sad times, Headlines out the Top 100.

Hopefully it'll re-enter when the Channel 4 documentary is on, and then again when the new album is released. It needs a price cut! £6 in HMV yesterday whilst Olly, Tinie, Katy, Script and various other new albums were all £5. :o

 

Still, 28 weeks in the top 100 for this and 170K sales is pretty good. I was half expecting a Wordshaker type chart run again so i'm glad I was wrong. :)

Yeah I expected Higher to be arguably their best seller to date...but maybe people just bought the entire album instead of just the song. That didn't happen with Ego.

I've actually never looked at it like that before :o ! That could be the reason why Ego sold so much because people were perhaps un-aware that the album it belonged to was actually out, which could explain also the longetivety of Headlines compared to their previous album too.

Ego stalled at around 280-290k I think for a long time and we only found out it surpassed 301k last year sometime, then the update of 311k came early this year - so you never know. I think Higher will sell well in the background. It's still Top 200 on iTunes and the past two weeks it's been in the Top 110.

I wouldn't say 300k was out of the question either. Just over 25k to go, as 2ndAdventure says, should do well in the background.

Can you please try and proof read your posts before you post them? It's tiring having to assume what you mean all the time.

 

Why would they perform Higher, now? Headlines is over and done with now and they're prepping for their next album as we all know now. Both the album and single will sell nicely in the background untill the documentary for Ch4 comes out.
