Peter Kay might be doing it for publicity, or money? And once again, that's him finding her funny if he works with her, not anyone else.

Billie Piper is fantab and I doubt this new woman is gonna be half as good - xmas special looks great and I loved the whole cybermen v daleks thing - highlight of the series :lol:

Well, sorry I really dunno why her. I ask that of a lot of guest stars but she's bound to bring more postives to the show than negatives in regards to ratiings and so forth.

Well, these Cybermen were from the parallel earth weren't they? (I'm going by what my brother told me)

And they are just a brain, inside metal. So I don't think they are male or female.

Catherine Tate isn't the next companion - it is the same girl who was in the previous episode. She plays Martha Jones. She used to be in Crossroads.

 

Anyway I thought the episode was great - in fact I enjoyed all the series.

 

Torchwood with John Barrowman is coming soon so that will fill the gap. It will be post-watershed so expect stronger stuff. I saw "Dr Who Confidential" last week which had a lot of info about Torchwood.
