This week HAS been good, and I enjoyed the Jane/Ian/Zainab/Masood confrontation at the end - I look forward to more of the same on Monday!

However, the ongoing nonsense about Fatboy and market stalls is still taking up FAR too much airtime. GET RID.

Tying the shows worst characters Becca & Fatboy together in 1 storyline would surely always end in the bore-fest thats currently going on? I've given up on Becca now frankly - I thought she was a great addition at the begining and her releshonship with Jean had always been a highlight but surely she wont be hanging around with Stacey and Jean off?

Been another good week though. The Thursday episode perhaps could have been done a bit better but tonights was better though. The storylines in the background with Pat & Peggy, Ronnie & Roxy and the talk Shirley and Ronnie had tonight have been good too.

Becca's next out. She's a total nothing character - all 'devious' looks but there's no interest there whatsoever. They could've had another best friend for Stacey who would either die in the end or whose life would inevitably be ruined, such is the Curse of Stacey™, but she's a pantomime actress at best so she's reduced to sniffing around the market.

The best thing they could do with Becca is build her up to be more and more pyscho - we got glimpses of it before Bradley died when she REALLY didn't like him "taking" Stacey away. Although whether they'd want another proper psycho with Lucas still on the scene I don't know.

I'd much rather see Lucas finish of Becca than Chelsea - not saying he will get Chelsea but his little speech during the scene in the Vic the other night to her made me think it might happen.

Mixing FatBoy and Becca is just awful.

Zsa Zsa deserves so much better than what she is getting right now. :drama:

I like Becca but please keep her away from Fatboy. I agree that all the backropund storylines have been great, i love the whole pat paeggy and ronnie roxy stuff and also the christian zainab, masood stuff.

I don't mind Zsa Zsa but Fatboy is clearly the better actor and he gets some properly hilarious lines too. Hush yo' mouf rood gal! was a highlight tonight. Zsa Zsa always seems to have her tongue stuck to the roof of her mouth, and she's forever 'doing a Danny' by leaving her mouth hanging open after she speaks. It's incredibly distracting. She needs some training.

EastEnders topped the soap ratings yesterday evening, according to overnight figures.

The Walford serial's final episode of the week, which saw Dot drop Harvey in it with Pat and Peggy, pulled in 8.27m (37.9%) at 8pm. BBC Three's 10pm repeat added a further 590k (3%).

Tina's collapse and the aftermath during Coronation Street's double bill, meanwhile, drew 7.73m (37.6%) and 8.08m (36.6%) at 7.30pm and 8.30pm.

Eastenders also beat corrie on thursday as corrie only logged 6.7 million viewers, on monday it beat corri's first episode but the 2nd corrie episode just pipped eastenders to the post.

EastEnders has performed very strongly in the ratings nearly all year which is great news.

Oh my god tonight was AMAZING. That duff duff gave me chills. I'm going to say it was ICONIC.
That last scene between Masood and Zainab was fantastic. They really have been the most on-form of all characters this year so far.

Don't forget Voting for the soap awards closes on Friday and EastEnders has had a brilliant 12months

with who Killed Archie?,Bi polor and the Syed/Chrisitan storyline

plus others so i think it deserves to win.

Don't forget EastEnders and Corrie cast are on This morning tommorow from 10:30pm ITV1

EastEnders has been shortlisted for 8 catageories in the Britisg soap awards with emmerdale leading the way with 9. From the nomination i have seen spectacular performance is the category they missed out on.

Tonights was superb too - this whole storyline has got me watching again!

"I aint fluent in gibberish!" Dot's been on top form past few eps!

Whole show has actually. Nina and Nitin are amazing together. ^_^

YA i loved tonight ending and great reversal of roles which you wudnt usually expect, i also like dthe banter between Ian and Christian.

I've been watching EE quite a bit lately ... and it is all down to the Masoods. I knew that when Mr Masood had that suitcase packed in the hall ... it was for Mrs Masood ... but I liked anticipating it.

I still think all the other storylines are absolute pants ... especially the tired old Peggy V Pat one ... with silly old sod Dot joining in. And when are they going to kill Billy off? One of the most useless characters bar none ... in ANY soap.

Norma

Peggy vs Pat is just light relief, and it's brilliant. And Dot has had some of the best lines in here scenes with the pair of them this past week!

Billy is indeed dull. I'm starting to understand why he's so immensely disliked across the forums I discuss EastEnders on. Hopefully he'll be gone before the year is out.

The pat and peggy stuff is great and dots inclusion just adds to the light relief of the storyline and its hugely enjoyable. Billy is annoying me and has done so for year how he has escaped the axe is beyond me, hopefully he is the next to go as his storylines are repetitive and i just cant emphatise with him at all.

Poor Billy hits a new low - having to share scenes with Leon and Fatboy. Fatboy at least adds comic value but Leon really adds absoultely nothing. Im hoping re-introducing Mercy manages to save the E20 characters because frankly if things continue surely they wont be around much longer? All the enjoyment and spark from Zsa-Zsa's character seems to slowly be draining away aswell.

Been a great set of episodes recently. Mostly down to the Masoods it has to be said. Yesterday was definatly better than tonight's episdoe, theres something very dull about the whole Ronnie/Jack storyline Part 3634. The Dot, Pat and Peggy scenes yesterday were much more enjoyable.
