It's hardly a bad thing. No video and minimal airplay and it's already verging on breaking the top 100. Comparing it to Bad Romance is stupid imo :lol: GaGa had momentum beforehand - and R1 airplay, which was said a billion times before.

 

All this shows is that it's a big hit in the waiting ^_^

I think #1 for 'Not Myself Tonight' in the future isn't totally out of the question if the video is really that epic, but it'll have to be something really special. Should be a safe top 5 regardless.

I'm confident that someone as huge as Christina will climb throughout the week (it's only been released today) so don't panic just yet. :D

It has been thirteen days since 'Not Myself Tonight' premiered, while 'Bad Romance' was released seven days after it premiered so....

 

 

Why is bad romance and not myself tonight being compared? seriously, that doesnt make sense.

Just stop the comparing and this whole discussion is just useless because it is going to do well, in time once its actually being played on radio and has a video..just give it time.

'Need you tonight' is a bit of fun but only due to the sample, Selena Gomez's single is worse than any Miley Cyrus releases (and that says a lot...), et Kate Nash reaching the top is out of question anyway, so go go Kelis!

Plus I really expected it to flop, it leaked aaaaages ago and I thought it hadn't much support. Very glad it's doing well then.

Both were released with no promo, no video and very little airplay.

Bad Romance did substantially better than NMT is doing right now, but I still expect NMT will eventually make at least the top 10.

 

Also, the higher Do-Wah-Doo has finally overtaken Skinny Genes - they're at 21 and 22 respectively.

yesss but bad romance was the lead to a deluxe edition of a huge album, gaga had recently had massive hits before, christina on the other hand hasnt had any hype or singles for a long while. so they cant really be compared. also i remember bad romance had an advert on the main itunes page which helps significantly.
