October 3, 201014 yr Soft Cell - Non Stop Erotic Cabaret Strange you should mention Non Stop Erotic Cabaret - I re-bought this CD this week - a Japanese import - with a superb extra CD of rare tracks, b-sides etc. There's an instrumental track, which was the b-side of their pretty humdrum single 'What!'..... it's called 'So'.... and it's absolutely fantastic. Canadian electro DJ Tiga uses it in his sets, and it also featured on his excellent 'DJ Kicks' compilation a few years back. Morrissey - Everyday Is Like Sunday Malcolm McLaren feat. Catherine Deneuve - Paris (Youth Mix) Yazoo - Winter Kills
October 3, 201014 yr Suede - Coming Up That was the first album I ever bought, at the age of 9 or 10. It was all because some people for a talent contest at primary school made up a dance routine for 'Filmstar' anjd I loved it so much, still do. Classic.

Is it the version with bonus tracks of 'Torch' & 'A Man Could Get Lost' and second cd ending with 'So'? I think I have that one too. 2 cd's with a booklet. Brilliant album with or without bonuses
October 4, 201014 yr That's the one, SKOB.... love it. I always thought the Soft Cell b-sides and extra tracks were almost always better than the actual singles... what a shame this seminal band are really only remembered for Tainted Love.... my fave of theirs was 'Martin', the 12" that came with The Art of Falling Apart, and subsequently released on the CD re-issue - INCREDIBLE track. Today I've been listening to newer music.... Aeroplane, who did the fab remix of 'Williams' Blood' by Grace Jones, have released their debut - magnificent it is.... 'We Can't Fly' it's called... think Giorgio Moroder meets Moon Safari-era Air... very retro, very electro disco... just brilliant. Also, 'Sleepwalkers' by David Sylvian.... a compilation of his collaborations over the years - truly excellent... and one of the most gorgeous album covers I've ever seen.
October 5, 201014 yr I have to say that I'm only familiar with Non Stop.. Have heard some other tracks too and they are all great. Might do a little investment...
October 6, 201014 yr SKOB - The Art of Falling Apart is a masterpiece - their best album IMO. Their comebacl album a few years back was rather brilliant, too. Today I've been listening to Yazoo's 'Reconnected Live' - a perfect live album - and a great example that, like Soft Cell, when a group reconvenes after a long hiatus not only are they as good - they can actually be better - phenomenal.
October 6, 201014 yr Today I listened to Double Fantasy by John and Yoko and it was as bad as I remembered.
