April 19, 201015 yr HA! We have Betty Boo in our 'unique' chart - and I don't even think I was one of them last week :D I played Doin TheDo & I'm On My Way twice in last 7 days
April 19, 201015 yr Er...that was me playing Betty Boo. I had 'Where are you Baby' on last week. Brilliant! :D f*** Buttons or Vitalic? There's a chance these two could come on my ipod and I'm sure it's the same for others...
April 19, 201015 yr Excellent - see if you can get hold of Steve Mason too. There's no leak (if that's how you get hold of your music) but it'd be worth Spotifying and then buying if you like. For those who don't know him, he was lead singer of the Beta Band and the new album is produced by Richard X.
April 19, 201015 yr I used to like the Beta Band, I shall track some stuff down. Lost And Found seems to be the latest, a good place to start?
April 19, 201015 yr Yep, as good as any. That's on the new album and it's ace. Oh, and you can get 'All Come Down' for free from the Domino Records website as another taster. It's brilliant, probably still the best song on the album.
April 20, 201015 yr :o this group's charts are loffly <3 we should have chart runnssss I'll definitely try and update it every week. Maybe we should have an artist of the week?
April 20, 201015 yr I like this idea. We need a top 100 songs and top 50 artists in one huge database thing with runs and peaks and stuff and I'm liking the idea of band of the week. It's so kind of you to offer to do all of this, I'd have thought it may take quite some time. :D
April 20, 201015 yr I don't mind doing it. I'm not sure how far to go down each week though? Is a top 10/12 enough? Only there were 28 artists and 27 songs that were listened to 4 times last week. It's a bit much to include when it's all tied. I think a top 10 definitely, and any additional song/artist which have got 5 or more plays.
April 20, 201015 yr Sounds good to me, anything with 5 or more seems like a good start. It can always be adapted as the group progresses. Edited April 20, 201015 yr by Dandy*
April 20, 201015 yr I'm not sure that Emily Haines will approve you, I hear the main Buzzjack chart is already packed full of Shuggie Otis obsessives. :D

April 22, 201015 yr I'm not sure that Emily Haines will approve you, I hear the main Buzzjack chart is already packed full of Shuggie Otis obsessives. :D  How did you remember I was a Shuggie fan?! I shall make it my personal mission to convert all of Buzzjack to his psychedelic soul charms ;) Cheers Caz, happy to be the 20th member.. I think with my listening input there may be slightly more northern soul appearing in our collective chart :D
April 22, 201015 yr Maybe Shuggie can be the Artist of the Week one week? How do you propose doing that by the way, shall a different person choose each week, or do we just go for something more fomulated, for instance whichever artist is no.10 one week, we all have to listen to the next?
April 22, 201015 yr Or... whoever is #10 one week, is guaranteed #1 next! :D Not that it matters but I think we should all take it in turns, we could do it in sign-up order.

I have a few Shuggie tracks on my itunes, always makes me think of you when one comes on. :D
April 22, 201015 yr Or... whoever is #10 one week, is guaranteed #1 next! :D Well it's either one person chooses the number one, or it's slightly more random...
