There’s something we never thought we’d ever type, but Britters has come over all responsible in her latest advertising campaign. Apparently she asked that natural shots of her for fashion company Candie’s be put alongside the airbrushed versions to show that she isn’t perfect (did she see what we wrote about the last ones, or what?).

The natural, or “raw” as they’re calling them, pictures show Ms Spears' bruises, dry skin on her feet, a touch of cellulite (if we only had that much), a bigger waist and bigger thighs than the retouched versions.

So big up Britney all round, or her people for advising it – whatevs – we like.

Yeah I was thinking the same. She doesn't look too different anyway. I also like how she is now getting her confidence back to speak out about these things! GO BRIT!

I have been wanting to see these pics!

I saw someone reading the paper at work the other day but couldnt get a proper look at them

Kendra Wilkinson Praises Britney Spears

Former Girls Next Door star Kendra Wilkinson has praised Britney Spears for releasing the pre-Photoshop images from her Candie's shoot.

Wilkinson, 24, became a mum for the first time in December and is seen in her E! reality show, Kendra, struggling to accept her new post-baby size.

The reality star wrote on her Twitter page that she was impressed with Spears' move to show off the unedited photos.

She said: "I really love that Britney Spears came out with the pre photoshop pics..i might do that too hahahahaha..scary!!

"sometimes we just take the pics n dont know what the mags n stuff do to the pics til they come out. lol.. on my show, i show the untouched all the time..i love bein real n showin my flaws."

Other critic reviews:

- ''Difference between Britney and alot of other stars is that she's real. Ok, she's not a nun but she's been through alot of things that most real women have i.e losing her kids and stuff and I think stuff like that makes you re-evaluate your priorities, I've always respected her because of her realness and considering everything, I think she's grown up alot and realised that all that sort of stuff doesn't matter and she's more confident in herself so I'm not surprised that she would do something like this. It'd be nice to think thay others would follow suit but it's unrealistic, Good on you Britney''

- ''This is brilliant - well done Britney. Let her be a trendsetter so that the next generation of women don't have the warped body image that we all suffer from, and the associated problems of this search for unattainable perfection.''

- ''I have a new found respect for Britney Spears.''

- A really brave thing for Britney to do and a really positive thing for young women everywhere to see a celebrity unairbrushed, well done Britney!

- I am no fan of Britney but I admire her for doing this. Maybe impressionable young girls will start to take notice of the real world full of real women with imperfections, and accept themselves and their bodies for what they are. Well done Britney!

- Never liked Britney until now.

She doesn't actually need it, go Britters.
She barely looks any different on those pics... good on her. I wonder why she made this decision though?
