Why is it that new urban songs seem to get a relatively slow start, compared to other new releases?

 

A cynical person might suggest it's because urban's overwhelmingly chav fans must be sleeping off their Saturday night binge-drinking until late the next day (or even the day after)... :P

Every time I see Turner on the chart update, I cheer inside, then moan when I realise it's Tina Turner and not Frank Turner on the list.

I really am tired of these FB campaigns. I like the song but BLEH go away :/

And GYH was pretty weak by Glee's usual standards. I don't think it was a good song choice for the character.
