'Giving You Up' is one of my favourite Kylie songs but so is 'Made Of Glass', I'd say about equally as good and certainly deserved more than b-side status.

The awful video just made the whole single campaign feel really tacky to me for some reason. I changed my mind when the classy Made of Glass greeted my ears upon buying and listening to the single

Don't get me wrong, I like Giving You Up, particularly the instrumental, but it's far from one of my favourites and I much preferred the b-side. Wasn't Rachel Stevens supposed to have recorded it/been releasing Made of Glass at one point too? I never heard it though...

Agreed though, a proper 2004 album in place of Ultimate Kylie could have been very special, I also loved BPM and naturally I Believe In You.

Ya a new studio album in place of ultimate kylie could have been brilliant as they was some great work produced at that time and both singles giving you up and i believe in you were great.

Im really impressed with the sales for all the lovers again this week and im hoping she will sell over 30,000 again this week, a few more stable weeks within the top 20 and all the lovers might reach 300,000 by the time sales completly trail off.

I think it will havee strong sales, and hopefully that will translate into strong Aphrodite sales!
I think next week is when she'll benefit the most. The album version will be available, which will hopefully do well for her.
I'm hoping she will benefit well and i do think she stands a great chance of getting a number 1 album with aphrodite, the lead single is doing very well, the album seems to be percieved very well and there isnt huge competition releasing on the same day as her.

Of the year :w00t:

Edit: relistened to the remixes and they are now amazing, especially the WAWA & MMB Anthem Remix

I'm not so sure, K'naan is #3 and he's on the slide now, I'm not convinced Eminem/Rihanna will hold up either plus she has two other versions charting on iTunes and huge physicals. She can do it! :D
The physical sales will be big but v frontloaded since most will be from fans ordering online which affect the first midweek position, so i cant see many physical sales being added at all after today. Obviously I hope it is number 2 but im prepared for the worst too
Im delighted she is #2 today i was sure she would be only number 4,her phyisicals will trail off but its seling well outside her fanbase on downloads so hopefully she can hold top 3 come sunday, either way she will probably sell around 40,000 this week which will bring all the lovers past 120,000 in just 3 weeks, all the lovers will have almost outsold 2 hearts when this coming weeks sales are added alone. Im delighted the single is doing so well as it really deserves to do very well..
I hope the same but im doubtful it will although i hope i have to eat my words, i wouldnt be disapointed with kylie having a 12th number 2 hit to her name and also would make it her 19th top 2 hit, and if it goes number 3 it would give kylie her 20th top 3 hit.
