Probably a contender for my favourite album of the year - easily her best since Fever and puts the last two albums to shame for me personally. My ratings after a few listens;

Seriously great album, topped with a perfect lead single in my opinion :wub: I'd personally like to see Aphrodite and Too Much as singles after Get Outta My Way but this album is very radio friendly and nearly everything would work as a single :o

Mighty rivers has now leaked, it is over 4 mins and that is all i know and all i will

know until monday at midnight. i belive it is on youtube.

Mighty Rivers isn't all that. No loss that it didn't make the album.

I was all geared up last week thinking the album was out fri here in ireland and only when i went into the shop i realised it was all the lovers phyisical that was out and not the album i was so disapointed, still im so looking forward to getting it this friday.

radio 2 played Get Outta My Way, it is not as good as Put Your hands up but still a great tune 9/10

I pretty much like very song but I changed my mind about cupid boy... it shouldn't be a single because the repeated chorus is kinda annoying. Can't beat the feeling is the new LAFS for me. ^_^

 

Closer is cool and so is "everything is beautiful" which kinda reminds me of "Sensitized" from X as both have some RnB influence. :wub:

 

Put your hand up (if you feel love) is the new Better the devil you know and lyrics is quite camp but I love the line "all we need is love in the fight for truth". :wub:

Who's getting the standard edition and who's getting the CD/DVD edition? I had the CD/DVD edition on pre-order but cancelled it and went with the standard on play.com which is going for just £6.99! I wouldn't mind if it was a pound or two more but as a skint student I can't justify spending a fiver on a DVD I know I'll probably never watch.

I went for the bargain.

I don't even know why I ordered the special edition anyway tbh. I didn't get the X special edition and it didn't bother me at all. My obsessive collector days are long since over.

 

Might still get the vinyl at some point though..... :lol:

Im getting the the standard and deluxe version and the vinyl, i will buy both cd;s locally but have ordered the vinyl from hmv, i cant wait to get the cd in the morning

Well i finally have the cd and boy am i impressed i wont do my track by track run down just yet.
