Two years is probably about the average amount of time to wait between albums. However, in the case of the Sugababes, their last album didnt do very well so its likely to seem a lot longer because they only released 3 singles from the last campaign which was a relatively short affair. I do think they needed to release something now, even if it was a single followed by an album later.

Taking some time out is what has been SORELY needed for years. Releasing rush-release after rush-release clearly wasn't working, especially with the member changes. I'd say they'd actually have a better shot in a year than they do now. (And it can't get worse.)

4.0 weren't a liked line-up. No one cared for them. If they return, especially if 1-dot-Oh has a successful comeback, they'll just look tragic.

Berrabah also revealed that the current Sugababes lineup is planning to release new music at "the end of next year", adding: "We haven't got anything set in stone just at the moment. But I've been in the studio literally every single day for my solo album.

 

"I've nearly finished and my first release should be in the first week of September so I'm quite nervous but I'm really excited."

 

Earlier this year the singer hinted that her first solo single will be called 'Rebel'.

 

At least it shows that they still plan to reform, I really hope they do! :D
