Rob, it will be hard for you to make the Final Thread since you don't include the links into the second post with confirmations :o But i believe this post is pointless and you did think about it :kink:

Enjoy people...even though I'm expecting WTF? reaction after you listen :P...it's my first foreign language song in regular contest.

Have you forgotten about 'Manos Al Aire' already!? :o :kink:

I have thought about it, was going to include the YT links this update, as a matter of fact. :) Thanks anyway.

Oooo Jack is sending Push Push, was one of my contenders a couple of contests ago :P

Haha, I've only recently got into it tbh, and there's not all that much new music out atm. :(

I would send Kelly Rowland if it wasn't so cheap and I suspect Aaron who has her reserved might send her.

You're kidding! There are tones of new music this time this year :o

I agree, I've got far too much new music to digest at the moment, to the point that I have about 80 songs every week that I want to chart that I have to cull to 50 (charts longer than that are beyond boring) :drama:

Maybe the UK release schedule is a bit dire but thankfully most of my favourite music comes from elsewhere - Scandinavia and Australia at the moment

Yeah well my favourite genres haven't got much going on where I've looked. :P I dont know, alot of the new stuff I have heard lately just hasn't grabbed me really. :(

2010 is basically 2009 regurgitated in an inferior way so far in my opinion. After the success of the likes of Dizzee Rascal and Tinchy Stryder (who were good) we're now getting what I think is 'landfill urban' just as we got a load of landfill indie following Arctic Monkeys/Franz Ferdinand. It always happens - artists/record companies know they can get a hit with any old junk as long as it's the 'in sound' so make money out of it whilst they can.

Hopefully a new 'sound' will come along soon to define this year, because so far I don't think any songs that will go down as 'classics' have been released. Even all the hyped new pop acts for this year are ohsoquirky electro pop girls again. That was last year's sound? Can we have something new now please :heehee: The BBC missed a trick hyping up acts from genres people don't care about now in favour of the urban stars who are pretty much going to smash with anything if it makes the Radio 1 a-list these days.

:o lol how come I forgot that :drama:

Nora beats Nelly though :P but according to the impact that this song made (which is equal with zero), probably I will change it before deadline.

It's after all not your favourite song atm, so why send it :P

Seeing as changes are allowed, maybe we should bring back the odds before confirmation closes! Remember how many people used to switch entries based on that :drama:
This particular would've been great without changes permitted for me personally as other artists put me under their spell :drama: I must stay strong and not send Kele
Lol at the people who think 2010 sucks. For pop it does, but it's a wonderful, wonderful year for all other genres of music.

f*** IT, gotta go indie for the new final rules! which are awesome and should stayyy. no more risk taking being a big deal, everyone should only be taking risks tbh. I love not having to worry whether this will make the final or not.

It is my fave I swear, but I'm insecure about Nora that she's not the best for BJSC...I always send favorite albanian songs to Ukmix Song Contest and looks like I'm going to stick with that.

and for info I was semi-drunk when I confirmed Nora :drama: as I did with Sarah Connor last time :heehee: [/blamesalcohol]

Rest assured in the knowledge that you can't DNQ this time and that 45+ people will have to listen to it regardless :cheer:

oh great...haven't thought about that...I might just go with Nora until the end

I second this, the UK music scene is lacking at the moment while Australia and Scandinavia are still producing the goods.

Well, apart from Brian McFadden of course who is still #1 there. I'm no Usher fan but I certainly prefer our #1 to theirs at the moment
