All of Katy's singles have been fantastic imo Bray :P Even her two guest appearances. But I agree with you that the second releases tend to be FAR stronger than the first. IKAG and CG whilst brilliant pop tunes are just too gimmicky and are trying to cause controversy or fit a trend.

 

Teenage Dream is my new addiction <3 Everyone goes on and on about Gaga and whilst Katy may not have had as massive success she too has been pretty consistant with an arson of cracking pop tunes.

 

I'm predicting the album will get to #1 everywhere but I'm not sure on sales. OOTB didn't even make the top 10 here and sold 400k I believe.

Dynamite is a Taio Cruz song. It's only natural that it would sound exactly like every other hit song of the past 12 months. Yawn.

It's a good song but the lyrics sound like they were written by a five year old and the production sounds generic as anything.

I'm seriously adoring her this era, I was a fan with her debut but I think this may have made me a bit of a loon for her. 'Teenage Dream' and 'California Gurls' are two songs of the year imo.

 

And I'll be the first to say it (well maybe not first) but she's doing it so much better than Lady GaGa right now.

Well you know what I mean, lately as in with her 'Alejandro' video and other stuff as well, I much preffered Lady GaGa in her earlier days when she first came out. Now she's a little bit pretentious :( I still love her music but I have gone off of her big time recently.

That's opinion... Chart-wise 'Alejandro' did fantastic. It was the eighth WW single from her album. -_-
