How is that generic? I quite like it for the record.

I wasn't serious tbh. Compared to my last entry - yes though LOL!

And the two songs into Nickodonia's fist national final final are:

Lake Heartbeat - Golden Chain

and

Jorun Stiansen - Sticky Hands

Any comments :cheer:?

Jorun Stiansen

Thou I kinda hate her for winning over Tone Damli Aaberge in Idol :kink: :P

I'm of the opinion it's for the best if the experiment goes ahead in XXVII.

Oh, the other thing with I was going to mention earlier is that we have to open the new registration thread this month. I really think it'd work best if we did it this month, rather than draw in new members when the format is possibly about to go under a big change. Especially when it means extra sets of votes for Rob to tally. It just makes sense, to me, to make the changes and open the gates at the same time. (and I really don't think we should hold it off for another month)

Aww, so has Tone (undeservedly) come 2nd in two contests? I mean, "Fairytale" was ok, but I still prefer "Butterflies" ^_^

Yes, I agree :w00t: I'm sure all of that threads views have come from me, checking to see if it's open yet :kink:

Butterflies is crappidy crap. The overall quality was meh on the whole aside from Fairytale obviously <3

No way, MGP 2009 >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> MGP 2010

Fairytale, Butterflies, Te Stein, Do It Again, Left/Right, Sweeter Than A Kiss, Like An Angel, Ride and Carrie were all brilliant! MGP 2010 had better artists but they were hardly delivering career highlights in terms of their entries (A1 aside )

Thought we'd never see the day :kink:
NCR is OPEN. 'Apols' for the time taken.

No problem, it's here now, and I've managed to sign up in time for BJSC XXVI

Everyone - say hello to "Bignia-Zaragovina" :kink:

I'll probably set up my national thread tomorrow (after confirmation from Tyron that everything's ok), and out of interest, where do people find some of their unknown entries?

Now THAT would be telling :kink: Good starting points are Hypem, Elbo.ws, Last.fm, Popjustice (+ forums) and blogsurfing...

Try foreign countries iTunes charts - it's where I've found my last three entries :D

Hello! :D

And we find our entries everywhere! Since I made my debut my search has led me to strangest things! A lot of crap though, but so so so many amazing tracks! My favorite spot is still Youtube tbh :kink: I've been up several nights to find the perfect entry for my country. And I've probably been a bit too obsessed about it at one time  I know my way around now, which is important for you too though :kink: Find your own way etc and you'll get a hit eventually.

Right, looking at the dates, and the dates of my exams, I can host. And, it's up to you if you want to do the experiment this contest or not - that'd make it easier than me bossing around again, as I seem to have been doing.

Oh, and can I open the banlist aswell, today? :)

Maybe it does make sense for us to run the experiment this time, because it would ease the newbies in nicely not having to DNQ if it takes them a while to get the gist of the contest (which is normal tbh). But wait and see what Tyron says, it's his baby...
Plus i don't think that next time there's gonna be as many newbies signed up as before this contest. And all these changes of voting systems might be a little problem tbh. But to be frank i think some people might still vote using the old 12-point scheme in the experiment-contest :o
If they do though, they'll have to vote again...

So it's definitely the 'one big final' idea going through? I guess I could start looking for something experimental then!

We'll have to re-define what a hit is as well, rather than being 15th and above (in a 30 strong final), I guess it would be 25th and above in a 50 strong final!

I'm actually warming to this big final idea, as all of the songs I've found so far are a bit different - not necessarily experimental, though.
