Does anyone know how close Bleeding Love, Poker Face and I Gotta Feeling are to a million in the UK?

If any of them is closest I am sure its IGF, though I reckon Leona is only 15k off?

I can't remember any of the sales. They are all over recent threads though.

I Gotta Feeling will make it by the end of the summer.

Poker Face by the end of the autumn.

Bleeding Love isn't in the charts so it may take a long time.

I wouldn't rule out all three songs hitting one million copies by the end of 2010. Someone is bound to sing 'I Gotta Feeling', 'Bleeding Love' and 'Poker Face' on the new season of The X Factor. Even 'Fight For This Love' could benefit with a second boost in sales although that's not even on 800k?

What about 'Sex On Fire' by Kings Of Leon? What's the sales for this?

Almost 900,000. Well, I say almost: 863,650 :kink:

Well before that - in just 3-4 weeks.

What was the last track to sell 1 million that wasn't related to X Factor or charity.

I'm pretty sure it's one of Shaggy & RikRok's 'It Wasn't Me' and Kylie's 'Can't Get You Out Of My Head'

That's going by release date anyway, the last song to actually pass the million was The Archies' Sugar Sugar (this year, according to vidcapper :o)

I Gotta Feeling will pass the mill very shortly, Sex On Fire shouldn't take too much longer, and then Poker Face shouldn't take too much longer after that ^_^ 3 mill sellers in fairly quick succession :o

BL will pass it at some point next year I think.

I think, if BGT/X Factor/other reality shows keep on running indefinitely, Snow Patrol's Chasing Cars will, depressingly, pass a million. A million people buying the worst and most depressing lump of awful to ever be produced in music's history (by a decent band as well). Sad. (this paragraph is IMO of course, I respect some people like Chasing Cars)

The proof:

80. Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol

Back in the iTunes top 100 as it never fails to do when featured on a reality show. ¬_¬

The whole Chasing Cars thing is weird the same audience watch these tv shows so you would think since it has been featured at least 100 times then everyone would have it by now.

It is great that I Gotta A Feeling will pass it soon it is basically the first monster hit to pass the milestone in nearly ten years. I don't regard anything from X Factor a monster hit.

These that I've found:

I Gotta Feeling - 985k

Sex On Fire - 973.5k

Poker Face - 954k

It is at like 965k I think.

Bleeding Love is on like 985k I think. :)

 Thanks. Should I go for 975k.

Just wondering, is there anything thats close to reaching 2 million? Like Will Young's Evergreen?

Click HERE to see the Top 100 biggest selling UK singles. Not been updated for several months so there may be a few changes. What I do know is that 'You're The One That I Want' by John Travola & Olivia Newton-John has now sold over 2 million copies overtaking Boney M 'Rivers Of Babylon / Brown Girl In The Ring'.

I suspect the sales for Band Aid and Boney M ('Mary's Boy Child') may also be slightly higher than the figures shown.

IGF deserves 1m the most

I'd say Sex On Fire does, not specifically because it's the best song of the three (which it is IMO but that's besides the point) but because it must be rare for indie/rock songs to sell over 1mill.

According to the chart of the decade, Leona is 11th, BEPs are 17th and Gaga is 15th, not sure of total sales, but Leona should pass a million soon, and if Poker Face and I Gotta Feeling continue to be popular, they will at some point too

I think Bleeding Love does in my biased opinion. :kink:

Trying to be completely objective here, I think Poker Face deserves it the most as no one can deny the brilliant lyrics and constant sexual innuendos in the song. The music is the icing on the cake.

Is I Gotta Feelin' the BEP's biggest selling single in the UK then? I think it's IGF 1st, BBP 2nd and WITL? 3rd. Although I think WITL? is close to 700k now and BBP is just over 600k. Not sure.
