Fascination are making more money from solo Cheryl than GA at the moment, though, so wouldn't they rather she released a second album, than a new GA album?

You're right and they probably do, but in that case it's Fascination holding up the group rather than Cheryl herself.

Personally I don't think Fascination will actually want the girls back as long as Cheryl keeps selling.

Cheryl's was quite dissapointing, good enough, but not amazing like it should have been... She's my fave member too so I was very dissapointing :( Nadine is my 2nd fave and she's the best singer imo so hers has the potential to be much better

[i recently] got to hear 3 of Nadines tracks [and] all 3 of the tracks are potential singles and suprisingly VERY good. I was a bit of a GA fan, but up until now had no interest in any of Nadines solo plans.

One track was something about a person being insatiable and it was quite catchy. The 2nd track was possibly called 'Changed / Change Me' and it was my favourite. The 3rd was a William Orbit track and it had elements of 'Untouchable' moments. It was a bit more ballady than the other 2, but it was definetly not a slow love song. It was quite nice but the 2nd track was the one that I could visualise hearing on the radio.

The expected? Very big vocals from Nadine. The unexpected for me? I think I will actually really like solo Nadine. She is pretty damn good.

Yes, single goes to radio in September and album out in November.

Hope its true. Really wanna hear her stuff, and then GA can get back together for this time next year!

(If true) then this is absoultely brilliant news, that things are finally starting up. After Cheryl's lacklusture attempts, Im really looking forward to hearing somthing decent fom one of them at least :D

This is all just frustrating me. Will we get a solo album from Nadine? If so, will GA record an album with all 5 members? Will they even release a new album, even if it's without Nadine? So many questions, and no answers :(

FRUSTRATING AT THE VERY LEAST

Edited by Frank!

November release for the album would mean the single should be released to radio in Septembre at least. So maximum one or two more months to wait surely. ABOUT TIME NADINE.

Nadine's album is going to be Tesco exclusive. I hope it doesn't mean it won't be out in the online retailers too. It's quite a controversial move!

Oh, that is just RIDICULOUS! What next - the single will be only available on Tesco Digital? -_-

The article from 'The Mirror':

Nadine's a pop store

By Dean Piper 22/08/2010

She's signed a solo deal..with Tesco

Girls Aloud star Nadine Coyle's hunt for a record label is finally over. I can reveal she has signed for, er... Tesco.

It means her debut solo album will only be available from the supermarket, where it will fight for space with the fruit and veg.

Britain's biggest grocer has been promising a string of bigname signings to their start-up record label. Earlier in the year its entertainment director announced a tie-in with Mick Hucknall and Simply Red and signing Nadine is certainly a big coup.

Whether it works for Nadine remains to be seen. The 25-year-old from Northern Ireland has been working in LA for two years now on her "dream" album. She had signed with Geffen Records, but the deal came unstuck over finances. So far she's worked with Robbie Williams' former songwriting partner Guy Chambers, Madonna's one-time producer William Orbit and singer songwriter Lucie Silvas and is close to finishing her record.

The long wait for a deal has apparently being deeply frustrating for Nadine and fuelled speculation that things were not going well.

But my source tells me: "Tesco will sell her album exclusively to their customers and it won't be available anywhere else, and being able to work on the music that she wants was the main reason for going with Tesco."

The decision has allowed Nadine to call all the shots on what she releases.

"She's decided who she's wanted to work with from the start. She's in control of every single decision - from the writers, the producers and the collaborators - and wants to produce her dream album. She didn't want to be a puppet for a record company."

The new deal confirms reports that Nadine is at least a year away from returning to the band that made her famous.

Girls Aloud still have a three-album deal with Fascination Records to fulfil, but sources say Nadine won't join them until she's given the solo project her best shot.

"She's planning a year of publicity, performing on her own and creating a brand for herself," adds the source.

"She hasn't started to think about when she will return to the band - or even if she will."

:o

It's only one article so far but still, we'll see what's going to happen in the future.

EDIT: all I can say about this so far is that if they don't put the singles/albums into the online retailers (mainly iTunes), the idea will be fail.

Interesting, I think it's more likely to be bad for her though, as casual buyers who hear the single will stroll into HMV and other stores asking for it, then have to go to the hassle of going to Tesco which some people don't like

No doubt the GA hardcore will be out to Tesco!

What next - the single will be only available on Tesco Digital? -_-

Most probably.

To be fair, isn't Tesco Entertainment now quite high up with the online retailers?

It only says about the album being exclusive to tesco, I should think it would be the same for the physical singles but digitally I expect it would be available everywhere.

Title confirmed as Insatiable:

NADINE Coyle’s solo album has been subject to much scrutiny without anyone hearing a note – but I can confirm she’s recorded some cracking pop songs.

I’ve heard five tracks from Insatiable, out November 8. The title track is the first single, and is ballsy and Eighties-influenced.

Red Light kicks into a disco dazzler, while Unbroken sees Nads, 25, sing in falsetto.

Chained has a sparkly synth backline and Natural is the big ballad, which she co-penned with Guy Chambers, 47.

Should finally here something by the end of this month then!
PLENTY of interested ears will be sounding out GIRLS ALOUD singer NADINE COYLE's new solo album.

Not least JADE EWEN - as Nadine is recording a song Jade was due to sing on her debut album before she replaced KEISHA BUCHANAN in the SUGABABES.

Jade said: "I don't know how I'll feel when I hear it.

"It will be weird but I guess it will be like when Keisha would have listened to the stuff I re-recorded.

"You can't get caught up in all of that. We're in a positive place right now."

Nadine's future in GIRLS ALOUD is still up in the air but the Sugababes won't be offering any guidance - despite their unrivalled experience coping with internal bust-ups.

Jade's bandmate HEIDI RANGE said: "I don't think we are ones to dish out advice on whether they should replace Nadine or carry on as a foursome."

I still wonder will 'Wake Up' by Nadine make the album or not... I'd like some Nadine & Jade duet. :P

So good to have proper news! Can't wait to hear the lead too.

I wonder how long the album'll be though, seeing as she's spent an age recording! :o
