I was writing this game and i could literally sit for days making up, trying and burning down the ideas for interface, user menu etc i.e. things that the person who will use the programme will see before anything else you write. Our teacher says that good looking interface is half of the work. :lol:Even writing stuff for Standard grade the Interface had to be perfect, unclutted and everything as small and neat as possible. I agree with your teacher, if it looks pretty your gonna want to use it. I get put off by badly designed Interface's i'm not gonna lie.
