Posted May 17, 201015 yr Arcade Fire set to release new single within the next few weeks. The Canadian band posted a message on their official website, Arcadefire.com, explaining that they were planning on getting a 12-inch vinyl release in shops soon. They are expected to release a new album, possibly a double, later in 2010. "Just finishing up pressing our new 12-inch," they wrote. "Should be in stores in the next couple weeks. God willing." Arcade Fire are set to headline the Reading And Leeds Festivals in August. The band's third album is expected sometime around the festivals, the band having told NME they will release it in the "second half" of the year. - NME.com Seriously excited about this! May 17, 201015 yr i'm not that bothered personally, they are a great band, and i'll certainly be checking out the new stuff, but they arent exactly "the best band ever" as often stated. I also could see them at Reading Festival this year, as Pendulum clash, and although I probaly perfer Pendulum I have seen them before, and also dont want the crush of that tent, as well as all the twats of the festival will go to Pendulum leaving thr true music fans at Arcade Fire, but that said, i'm far more likely to see the lock-up stage headliner, whoever that may be.

May 30, 201015 yr im surprised by the amount of people who dont care. anyway the two tracks are a good step towards me seeing them at Reading, especially seeing as the new Pendulum album is $h!t. although i'll probaly see Bad Religion anyway.
May 30, 201015 yr Month of May. Don't think they'll ever be able to recreate the masterpiece that is Funeral. That album just holds way too much beauty/emotion. But these sound promising.

AH, Funeral. One of the best debut albums ever - assuming you don't count the earlier EP as an album.
June 4, 201015 yr ROFL. wouldnt be surprised if that is a member of this forum tbh. Listening back to Arcade Fire, definatly sounds like they are trying to rip of Kelly Clarkson tbh, they are obviously jealous of her great musical talent, originality and popularity.
June 7, 201015 yr So glad arcade fire are back i cant wait for a new album in full as i adore neon bible.

July 17, 201014 yr We Used to Wait is very good. Not 'Rebellion (Lies)' good but decent. I don't still get people who say AF's the best band in the world Edited July 17, 201014 yr by SKOB
