On the 'boring' issue, this is something that could easily be remedied by shortening the voting period or bringing back the scandal shiz that we used to have...although I still remain convinced most people are calling our bluff by saying they will definitely leave. I see five people leaving, max, if this goes through.

If people leave we can always open registration again.

I find a little bit silly if people leave the song contest just because he gotta listen 5-7 more songs :wacko: or because it was boring 2 weeks of voting (which this is an easy fix...just make it 10 days of voting).

 

Also we have to find some activity to keep forum busy in voting period.

And on the boring issue, I agree with other people - I felt like I was talking to myself in the middle few days of the voting, nobody was joining in with the discussions apart from 1 or 2 others :lol: If you want discussion, start a topic, do a tour, start a 'chat show', do some odds (still only the usual suspects did them - none of the people complaining about it being boring did afaik and odds always provoke a reaction!). There are loads of ways to keep it active, but you have to generate some of it yourself.

 

Yes it's halved the speculation because there are no semis, but that's a blessed relief for me, my post count's tragic enough as it is every week and culling that stage surely shaved 50 or so posts from my total :kink:
