I would think it's because Muse are a much more respected band in the UK.

I never expected Muse to surface, 17 new entries in the top 100, probably some of those will trail off at the end of the week, probably see around 10 to 12 new entries in the official chart by the end of the week, which clears a lot of the deadwood. Seems the singles chart is picking up a bit. I prefer it this way, instead of having 3 new entries per week.

I just heard Bad Romance By Glee and it will be hit... it's out today in the US.

Well every week there are loads of new Glee releases, so that number is kinda inflated.

I thought "Misery Business" had gone top 20 before "Decode"? Still I get your point, atm Muse are selling on name and hype alone but if this starts getting airplay and gains momentum when the film's released it could become their biggest hit :o

After it was re-released six months after it's first release and everything else from the album had bombed :lol: I meant that their profile rose after 'Decode' in that they managed the biggest hit of their career so far and a number one album.

Umbrella Beach now at 162. Floptastic! :(
